Those staying around Le Touquet will find Etaples Military Cemetery, located at the site of what was once the largest British base in the world, it is the biggest of such cemeteries in France.

Close to Saint-Omer you will find the simply incredible La Coupole, a museum dedicated to Germany's occupation of France during WWII housed inside a former V2 rocket site. For those looking to head a little further south you will find the Somme region, the location of many battles of the First World War with guided tours taking place throughout the region.
