Windmill Village Golf Club

The 18-hole golf course is all about strategy; with a series of par 3’s to ease you into your round, with just enough distance and water hazards to challenge a seasoned golfer.

Overlooking the West Midlands countryside, the Par 70 course offers panoramic views, tree-lined fairways, water features, cross-cut fairways, mature trees, and well-drained manicured greens in excellent condition.

Though not long by modern standards, the course has some teeth, courtesy of the two large lakes that come into play on numerous occasions. The monstrous 7th, at 521 yards from the championship markers, has the power to make or break your score on the outward half.

The well-stocked golf shop stocks clothes and accessories from leading brands including FootJoy and Callaway to name but a few. This means that there are no concerns if you happen to have left some of the golfing paraphernalia back home.

The most memorable holes at Windmill Village are the 10th and 11th, where the large lake, home to a sizeable coy carp, skirt the fairways. A golf break at Windmill Village is perfect for sociable golf, and is accommodating for all kinds of players.

Accommodation at Windmill Village Hotel, Golf Club & Spa

The hotel offers 105 newly refurbished bedrooms which are ideal as a base for a golf break. The bedrooms are nicely decorated with quality furnishings to ensure your stay at Windmill Village Hotel is pleasant and comfortable.

Overlooking the golf course is the elegant Loft18 Restaurant serving a fine a la carte menu to suit all tastes during the week. The lively and authentic Cellar Bar, restored from the original cellars of the Coaching Inn, provides a focus for the evening entertainment, with a large selection of real ales, regular live music, and a late licence.

The resort has its own Leisure Club with some excellent facilities, including an 18 metre indoor swimming pool, heated to a constant 30 degrees, sauna, steam room, state of the art gym, and a Spa with a wide range of treatments and packages, with 3 separate treatment rooms.

Windmill Village Hotel, Golf Club & Spa is located near Coventry, Warwickshire. Nearby Windmill Village is only five minutes from the NEC, a short drive from Coventry and a great base to visit Shakespeare Country and the attractions of the Heart of England, such as Warwick Castle.

Two of our ladies had to change rooms as showers not working.we went into Cellar Bar on arrival no mugs and had to wait at least 5 mins for the one member of staff to get them. We told him we would need 20 so again had to wait and this happened when we came off the course in the second day so bad organisation by the hotel. However, we all had a great time, loved the course.

Very quirky course. Ideal for society's all bar the greens, in great condition, are very tricky (I loved them) and challenging for the high handicapper

Played off white tees day one as course looked short but surprised by difficulty with small undulating greens and narrow fairways so played off yellows day two and thoroughly enjoyed the experience

The course was immaculate probably the best kept I've played in a while, my only one gripe from the whole break was the slow play on the Monday. I have learnt since that the rounds are cheaper on a Monday so that's why it was really busy but it was painfully slow
