Nice apartments lovely people.

excellent venue and very nice personnel - the amenities are outstanding (e.g. free shuttle bus in the whole campus) and you don't miss anything.

Everything was absolutely fine - the only negative was that our apartment was a little 'tired', could do with refurbishing to match the standard of the rest of the resort, but we would still go back tomorrow!

Fantastic complex overall, only blips apartment quite isolated & required us to constantly have to book a 10 mins shuttle ride to get to any of the amenities ie: courses, Praca, & supermarkets etc. Though in fairness the shuttles were very prompt & the drivers extremely courteous. Only other gripe was the pool & gym advertised to us were both closed Would also like to thank your golf travel & Jay Conroy in particular this was my first venture into a golfing break & have to say Jay guided us through the whole process with absolute professionalism & courtesy

Everything was fine as in the previous visits to vale do lobo the accommodation was excellent staff on and off the course were very friendly and helpful we will definitely be returning

The apartment was very comfortable there were 2 bedrooms with 2 twin beds in each room. Very hard to find fault with the comfort levels and the actual location of the apartment.

Upgraded to small Villa with own plunge pool, accommodation was way above what we expected. Drinks obviously expensive. Supermarket on site. Free mini bus takes you around the complex. Everything is extremely well organised. TM M4 & M6 hire clubs. Couldn't fault it.

From the minute we walked through the door, the staff couldn't do enough for us. We arrived early so that we could play a round of golf, but couldn't check in to apartment until 3pm. Put our bags away safely for us and did the paperwork. After golf, collected our key and drove to apartment. Facilities at apartment were 1st Class, better than most hotels we have stayed at. Everything we needed was provided, including a welcome pack of bread, milk, tea, and coffee. Apartment very spacious with big TV and also wifi. Apartment was 15 minute walk from centre, but there was a free taxi service if we wanted it, just pick up phone and it was immediately there. Only used Spikes bar, food was pretty reasonable and varied menu, priced about what we expected. Again, everyone bent over backwards to be helpful. Checkout was very very quick and easy.

What a fantastic location, surroundings and place. From start to finish everything was perfect and as a frequent traveller that is rare. The apartment was spotless and a free private shuttle is arranged from the course to your apartment with no hassle. The club house is lovely, food and drinks amazing though slightly pricey but this can be expected due to the location. Service is quick and always with a smile. The club has showers and free towels so you can freshen up between rounds and everything is spotless. My 3 stars on the facilities is only down to them having a driving range that you cannot hit more than a 9 iron (160m long) and it only has 6 bays. There is one bar/restaurant at the club house which is lovely however is quite expensive. We had 3 bacon toasties and 1 posh greek yogurt with 4 drinks and it was 70 euro. however don't let this put you off.In the evening there is a free mini bus service from your apartment. Simply dial 9 and within 5 minutes you are collected and drop anywhere in the resort. The local square has around 6 restaurants to cater for all tastes. An average meal was around 60 euro per person based on 4. There was no nightlife in Vale Do Lobo in March however I have been in August and it's a complete contrast. If you want something more you can head to Vilamoura in a Uber for 12 euro. All in all it was a fantastic trip and look forward to going back. On a final note we had unlimited golf which was well worth it. We played 18 holes in the morning, finishing around 2.00pm, then had some lunch and a few beers and then played a different course around 5pm and managed to get 9 holes in. Getting back out was no problem and free buggies were always available.

Very clean and tidy everything you need for a golf stay in the apartment sky sports was a plus as well as free wifi. Choice of restaurants was small on site but that was due to all of them on the Praca weren't open yet, food was lovely in spikes bar and staff was brilliant couldnt do enough to help us. Definitely go back.

Out apartment was very nice. It was clean and had a basic welcome pack with milk, bread, tea & coffee. All the kitchen equipment was in good working order. The staff at the resort reception were efficient & friendly. The restaurant was lovely & the staff were very friendly & helpful. The breakfast was very good & set us up for a good morning of golf. We did not hire a car so we used the resort bus to get back & fore from our apartment. All the drivers were helpful and friendly at all times. The resort is very large so the bus was vital in getting to the reception were the golf office is situated.

Better than expected.

My group of 12 have just returned from a weeks trip to Vale do Lobo. I have been organizing these trips for over 20 years and I would say that the YGT offer for Vale do Lobo is the best deal ever! In fact I rang Nick Hall direct to make sure it wasn’t a mistake. The deal consisted 7 nights accommodation in a link detached villa, which was very well equipped.We even had a pool! 7 rounds of golf on the Royal and Ocean courses, including buggies. We also had club rental included for Taylormade M4 clubs! Even our two best players who are 6 and 7 handicaps left their blades at home. For those who have not been to VDL it is a large site but the resort has a minibus pickup from anywhere on site. Normally they are with you in 5 minutes or so. There are a few bars and restaurants open in February but if you want a livelier time you may have to taxi to nearby Quinta do Lago. To top it all we qualified for a Taylormade M4 driver which our group had a draw for.

One bed apartment very tired and in need of upgrading, would not choose this option again. Continuous calls made for housekiiping to replace consumables.

Staff at the resort were very friendly and helpful Apartment was great, resort bus to transit you around the resort and only a 5 minute wait.

The apartment was very spacious and had lots of facilities such as dishwasher,microwave, washing machine. The nice touch was the milk, bread, coffee and tea left for us. However, the apartment did look tired and really needed re decorating, especially the bathroom

Quite a large complex, but the internal "resort bus " system works well, and is easy to use. Apartment was spotless, ans had everything one could ask for. Nice outdoor terrace too. Two lovely and challenging but fair courses, with very helpful and knowledgeable staff.

May I say that every body in my group including my self could not fault this trip in any way the Royal and Ocean courses were superb offering us some breathtaking views and good golf all the staff were extremely helpful and polite

The marshals need to be more proactive in keeping play moving as they spoke to us after 9 holes to apologise for slow play from 4 groups of 4 in front but said they had asked them to speed up. Our back 9 took 3 hours!!!! The marshals clearly did nothing further to speed up play. Ridiculous!!!!

really nice course, even though you touch the Ocean only on a few holes - nevertheless a gorgeous course with some really nice views and in excellent condition!

wonderful course at excellent conditions - pretty tricky (#16 in particular), but definitely a recommendation. I had the chance to rent a GolfBoard on the course, and that was the next level of fun in golfing! ;)

By far the best course will definitely be playing this again. Only let down was your golf not including the transfers to and from course we had to pay for taxis will not be using your golf travel again.

Excellent - as for Ocean regarding grainy grass and soft sand in bunkers, a little easier that Ocean with more 'valley, fairways which feed the ball back down.

Fabulous course. Punishes bad shots, which makes it hard at times, and it was tricky getting used to the grainy grass and deep soft sand in the bunkers, but that it more my lack of skill than a fault with the course.

The ocean course was not in as good condition as last year, the greens were poor and it is very much the poor relation of the ocean course even with the signature 16th hole.

Like the Ocean course I feel for September the course is over watered, leaving many areas boggy. First cut of rough can be a lottery to get out of if the Ball is sitting down in the wet grass.

The set up from the minute you arrive is breathtaking, staff, shop, club house and surroundings you have entered a five star environment! The course has a grandstand finish with the back nine providing elevated tees with views over the Atlantic with the picture hole running alongside the beach - that is one large bunker!!

Course marshal did not do his job, very slow play. On course drinks buggy was poor service. Course in very good condition, buggies very expensive and need Sat Nav at this price

Thought it couldn't get better after the last 2 days, but it did playing this course which was perfect. Fairways great. greens great and true, a little fast for the high handicappers and the back 9 holes were a true pleasure. My personal favourite out of the 3 but overall and fantastic 3 days of Golf playing 3 great courses, and it always my Golf Society mentality to play the best when we travel afar, and Your Golf travel did not disappoint at all with these 3 courses. Thank you.

Loved this course and had a good day plating it. Lots of different holes which kept your concentration to its highest level. Fairways great, greens good and true. A great day was had by all 22 players.

Very hilly and not very well laid out. Lots of walks between tees and felt very disjointed lay out. Probably the least enjoyable course I have played in the algarve

Fantastic experience, course in great condition, my son & l tee’d off first thing so it was very quiet, some wonderful views & breathtaking holes also got round in less than 4 hours Unusually!! managed to keep the balls predominantly on the fairways consequently for a couple of 20 handicappers we found the course very fair

Fabulous golf course in great condition. There are photo opportunities on almost every hole. There seems to be more demand for the Royal Course but for me they are both fantastic.

Fabulous setting and the condition of the course was excellent. Thanks to YGT I had a buggy included in my rates and this I found invaluable. I loved the Ocean Course, it provided a great challenge, it has the most fantastic views and was less busy than the Royal Course. I'll be back.

Every tee time is taken with 4 balls, round was as expected 4.5 hours. We all loved the course, greens have plenty of undulations, everything was in great condition. We had buggies otherwise there are some fairly long walks between holes. Driving range only for chipping 150 yards long.

We did walk off one day after the 13th hole because of slow play. Very interesting to discover that the original 6 - 9th holes on the original course were now the 15 - 18 holes on this course. We cubit decide which course we liked the best and we played with some very interesting people. All in all we enjoyed both our golf and our stay in Vale do Lobo. We might return.

Great to be back here after 20 years. The course had changed somewhat. Some holes were difficult for an OAP lady but nevertheless challenging and enjoyable.

Personal opinion I prefer the Ocean to the Royal although the 16th is a must play hole. on the day the pin positions were ridiculous for a casual round of golf.

The course is in superb condition and the holes on the back nine are a pleasure to play, greens are tough and very quick, depending on pin placement you can 3 or 4 putt quite easily.

Our preference of the two Vale do Lobo courses, as it is a bit more open than the Royal. Some great holes down by the sea, and an excellent 18th to finish!

Exactly the same comment from Royal Course experience. Slightly different course in that it is a bit tighter. Greens maybe slightly faster than Royal. A couple of devilish holes that I failed to master, which meant I favoured the Royal, just. Again managed 3 rounds including 36 on last day. Will definitely want to go back and try again sometime.

Like the hotel, service was exemplary. The guys on doing the buggies and clubs were so helpful. Made sure we had everything we needed. Clubs were free for us and were Taylor Made M4's as main choice, shortly being upgraded to M6's. Loved the course, so many different holes especially Par 3 16th. Would love to say I played it well, but I didn't. Hey ho, always next time. Greens were devilishly fast with loads of borrows. Score would have been great if I could have read them better. Couldn't fault the course at all, and managed 3 rounds and a couple of front 9's with unlimited golf on offer.

The Royal course lived up to everything i expected and hoped for. Pristine fairways, mirror like greens, challenging pin positions and well... the 16th hole is something from a golfers dream. We had the joy of playing this using our unlimited golf 4 time in two days and managed to play the 16th as the sun set which was breathtaking. We also found the course less congested and often wouldn't see other players for a few holes. If playing the twilight rounds remember to take bug spray as they are rife in the evening on the watery holes. Would fully recommend the two courses and yourgolftravel.com for sorting an amazing trip from start to finish.

The ocean course was fantastic for the time of year with near perfect fairways and greens. There were a few patchy areas on the fairways but I am sure in a few months these will be spot on. The ocean holes are beautiful and very challenging. We played this course twice over the three days and would certainly play it again. My only negative is you felt that you were constantly rushing as it was quite busy. I lost a lot of balls as I felt I didn't have time to look for them. Apart from this everything else is positive, on course refreshments, you can phone a number on your scorecard and they will bring you drinks and food. Note: Practice your putting as I have never know greens as fast as these and as challenging which made the golf even more enjoyable especially those special moments when you drain a 30ft put.

Same as Ocean course regarding views until you get to 16th then it goes to next level of brilliant with the par 3 on cliff face best hole ive ever played. Again course was emaculate cant wait to go back and play both again.

All I can say is wow, the best and most difficult course I’ve played. Every hole is stunning and challenging in different ways. The signature 16th par 3 on the cliff edge is the best hole I’ve ever played. Can’t wait to play it again

First 4 holes are average but then once you get in to the villas and head towards the coast the course is stunning but very difficult would love to play it again

This was our third course and we kept the best to last beautiful setting excellent course just wish my golf could have done it justice will play this course again and again every time I come back to Portugal

Great course in excellent condition, played it 3 times. Some lovely challenging holes but very well playable for 10 and18 handicappers. Off the yellow tees it is not very long. Overall top class course.

My 11 year old Great grandson loved this course very much. It was a long course for him but he coped with it very well. Although challenging, his game held together very well. The 16th hole is very exciting & although not hitting the green he did reasonable. He played this course twice Tuesday PM & Wednesday late morning

My Great grandson aged 11 loved the course. He had not played on a course as long as this before so he found it a challenge but he had me to caddy for him. At the end we came off both really delighted with the round. He played this course Monday AM & Tuesday AM

This course is magnificent with wonderful views. not surprising that the Ryder Cup is here in 2022 would have liked to have played better but the experience more than compensated.

In my view even harder than the Royal course with very demanding fast greens. Also has fantastic views over the ocean.

Beautifully manicured course in fantastic condition. Greens very fast with lots of hidden slopes. Some of the best views in golf including the magical 16th over the ocean.

Tee to green was tricky in places with bunkers in prime positions on the fairways and around the greens. Water to cross and when you eventually landed on the green the greens were quick. out of the two courses I preferred the Royal course.

Greens spoiled by other players not having repaired their pitch marks. Otherwise they were fast and true. The difficulty was average as there was no rough to speak of, consequently only lost balls to OOB and water hazards

The course is great. The hilly sections make you puff a bit when pulling a trolley. The Starter was very helpful in allowing us to go out as a two ball. We played it twice and the en second time it was very slow

Loved this coarse, a little more friendly than the Royal but still very challenging for the higher handicaps,all the usual things that Portugal brings in abundance and some.

Lovely shame we had quite severe rain ☔️ on the day but the coarse held up very well and the greens remained quick.

High winds and a monsoon arrived so only could play 4 holes.

Love this course a few water hazards makes you think about your next shot. Some generous fairways let’s you open your shoulders but go wayward and you are blocked out. Greens very true and fast.
