The Warwickshire is one of the premier modern golf complexes in England, boasting two genuine championship courses, The Earls & The Kings, impressive practice facilities and a great Clubhouse & Bar. Across the two courses, the style of play is varied, with some inland links mixed with parkland play, making for some exciting and memorable rounds.

Centrally located in the UK with easy access to the M40, M6 and M1 and close to Historic Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon, The Warwickshire is the ideal location to enjoy a golf break. The Hotel itself is first-class all the way, with modern luxuries throughout, there are also a number of excellent facilities available for guests to enjoy.

American course architect Karl Litten, who fashioned the famous Majilis Course at the Emirates Golf Club in Dubai, has successfully blended different styles of golf - inland links, woodland and parkland - resulting in an extremely enjoyable and challenging golfing experience.

Golf Courses at The Warwickshire Golf & Country Club

The Warwickshire has hosted many prestigious professional tournaments, including a European Seniors Tour event, it also hosts the annual YourGolfTravel Longest Golf Day where a select group of hardy Golfers attempt to get through 72 Holes in one day.

Earls Course

The Earls Course provides a stern test of golfing skill, tight driving holes are cut through dense woodland throughout the opening nine while the closing nine has the extra hazard of water to contend with. Good course management with plenty of lay up shots are required when attacking the small greens.

Kings Course

Wide fairways, large undulating greens and plenty of water hazards define this as an American style golf course but don’t be tempted to get too greedy with your driver. Well placed bunkers along the fairways and around the greens are waiting for any slightly wayward shot, well struck iron play is essential around the Kings Course.

Staff were very helpful, Saby in particular, we arrived via train and offered to drive us from the hotel to the golf club which was great. Service was great and rooms in great condition.

We really enjoyed the comfort of the rooms, albeit some rooms were not ready for occupation on arrival. We were disappointed in the restaurant ie tables were more like school dinner tables and the food choices were not great.

Good value experience. Dining areas were a touch canteen like but food was better than the setting suggested it would be.

Lovely course but due to heavy rainfall it wasn’t in the best condition. I’ve played it previously and it was in great condition considering the inclement weather

This course had slightly better drainage but was still very boggy. Both courses best played in drier times, but both worth anpther visit.

The course was very wet after all the rain we have had recently. Looks like a course best played in summer drier conditions as doesn't look like it drains well. except the greens which were in good condition despite all the rain.

We played the Kings course following heavy rain - this course drains much better than the Earls course which should be avoided after heavy rain and in wet winters. I would recommend a buggie if you intend playing both courses as the walk is long and the rounds can be on the slow side. The design, layout and quality of the course were all of a very good standard and provide a the proficient amateur golfer a really good test of the game.

This is a very long course. The course was particularly busy on the Sunday we played and the round took an unacceptable 5.5 hours! No sign of any marshals helping speed of play - I assume because there are no buggies allowed on the course! We had had a lot of rain recently and the course does not drain very well at all and therefore should be avoided in wet winter conditions. On a summers dry day with normal pace of play this course is a very good and enjoyable challenge for the more proficient amateur golfer.

Take your medicine if you find the rough, chip back out and get your head back on track. Long and narrow so a true test.
