Since opening in 1996 the course at Thai Country Club has been set up to welcome professional golf tournaments, which it has done on several occasions, a testament to the brilliant maintenance of the course. A course in brilliant condition is one thing, but this one also boasts beauty from the 1st to 18th, featuring several water hazards and an abundance of flora and fauna. As you approach every tee box you are met with more stunning surroundings and a unique test of your game; while the course can be quite open, elevated greens, severe undulation and a large number of bunkers present quite a challenge for all golfers.
The signature hole is the par-3 6th which is long at 218 yards but also features a lake to the right and bunkers before and after the green, pin point accuracy is necessary. All in all for a successful round at Thai Country Club you will have to not only display a good variety of golf shots but also a certain degree of course management, as you’re bound to find yourself in some trouble along the way.
In addition to an impressive driving range and practice area, the clubhouse is a huge part of this magnificent venue. Having won several awards paying homage to the contemporary facilities including opulent locker rooms as well as spa amenities such as a Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna, this venue can offer so much more than just 18 holes. In this clubhouse you will also be able to choose between several cuisines in a sophisticated environment as the remarkable dining standards of The Peninsula Hotels Group are ever-present.
