Opened in 1927, Royal Marrakech was subsequently reworked by Open Champion Arnaud Massy in 1933, and is a real gem. The course design has a distinct British accent, yet its surroundings are far removed from home shores; banks of cypress, eucalyptus, palm, olive, orange and apricot trees ensure that your round will be enjoyed in the most spectacular environment.
The tall trees are supported by a procession of strategically positioned bunkers, ensuring that the fair but challenging test is assured. Easily reached from the hub of the city centre, Royal Marrakech comes highly recommended for as part of any golf escape to sunny Morocco. Famous names to have enjoyed Royal Marrakech include Winston Churchill, Ike Eisenhower and David Lloyd George.
Golf enthusiasts can also indulge in cutting-edge practice amenities, such as a complimentary driving range, a designated area for honing short game skills, and three well-maintained putting greens. Additionally, there is a newly acquired fleet of buggies equipped with GPS technology. The clubhouse at Royal Golf Marrakech offers a refined and comfortable atmosphere for unwinding and socializing. It boasts a restaurant that serves exquisite cuisine and a pro shop that is stocked with the latest golf equipment and apparel. Whether you are an experienced golfer or a novice, Royal Golf Marrakech guarantees a top-notch golfing experience amidst the awe-inspiring backdrop of Morocco.

Similar to our homeland park tree lined courses. Short and easy if you can keep it down the middle! Lovely colonial stlye clubhouse and excellent changing facilities.

Very slow for the first nine on the “old course” but very good for the second nine on the “old course”. It was a really excellent golf club, certainly the best we played, with the course conditions being excellent. All the staff were very helpful, pleasant and generous with their advice/guidance.

We couldn't fault the condition or speed of the greens, and in general the course was in better condition than when I played it in 2018. My group felt a lot of the holes were similar to play and the service in the clubhouse was slow, which is my reason for a 3* rating overall.

Course is a good challenge, but felt quite repetitive as the holes tend to be quite similar, narrow and tree lined. If you hit straight it is quite an easy course.

Beautiful club, late starting round, behind some very slow golfers who should not really have been playing on the course. The most beautiful club house and great service.

This is a very different course from the others with lots of trees bordering the fairways. It is one of the older and more established courses with a local membership. The new clubhouse Is very impressive and provides a very nice atmosphere. The course is not long and was very busy when we played. One of the three nines was closed so everyone played the old course. The tees were even more forward than normal making a lot of wedges into par 4s.
