0800 043 6644Powerscourt Golf Club is situated in a very picturesque part of Wicklow, only 30 minutes from Dublin city centre. Opening in 1996 it has risen through the ranks to now be voted the Best Parkland Venue in Ireland 2014 with two fantastic championship courses.
East Course
Boasting the Irish PGA Championship and the European Tour Irish Senior Open, this is a testing course for all. It was designed by former Walker Cup Captain Peter Mc Evoy, stretches 6441 yards and is a par 72.
West Course
These 18 holes allow you to experience the beautiful, natural surroundings and although slightly shorter than the East Course, it also presents a par 72. David McLay-Kidd has created a course that entwines around the 1000 acre estate with wonderful views of both the hills and the sea.
Summerhill House Hotel
Located only 30 minutes from Dublin and at the beginning of the beautiful Wicklow mountains the Summerhill House Hotel is a perfect base to experience the beautiful Irish scenery. 2 min drive from the 2 golf courses, quiet location 15 min walk from the village of Enniskerry. Excellent choices for breakfast, friendly staff, rooms were spacious & comfortable.

Again great variation of holes, enjoyed the walk through the avenues of trees and scenery. Course & greens in great order. Relaxed afterwards sitting on the balcony in the sunshine with a libation observing the incoming golfers. Would highly recommend Powerscourt.

Wind made this play long. No one else on the course. Clubhouse good but not brilliant. Bar was small
