Vale Da Pinta Course, Carvoeiro

A good test of golf on a well balanced and varied layout. It was in excellent condition and the greens were perfect too. Easy to see why it's held Staysure events here, it was challenging from the yellow tees and from the blacks it looks even more of a stern a test.

Five hour round. Full of people who should not be allowed out the house let alone on a golf course

Lovely course and very enjoyable experience had all round. Nice facilities and friendly staff too. This course we rated second of the four courses we played on our trip. Great views lovely fairways. We will definitely return.

Busy time of year so expected a long round .Good course suitable for all handicaps

Excellent course in great condition. A bit hilly but a good mix of uphill and down hill holes using elevated tees. Would definitely play it again!!

Fantastic condition dispite all rain just before our arrival. Green start slow and get faster as they dry out.

Great course in a beautiful setting. Very well presented and maintained. It is fantastic how it weaves in and around the villas but 5hat does mean a lot of walking so would highly recommend a buggy

Greens could have been better,would rate this course third best of the four.unfortunately got stuck behind a very slow four ball which could have clouded our judgement.

Another really enjoyable course some excellent holes and all the party managed to score points. Great par 3's with elevated tees and really interesting holes. Throughly enjoyed our golf here.

Vale de Pinta is a nice course, but unfortunately for us the greens had recently been dressed so they were very slow and unpredictable. There was not a great greeting by the staff. No one was rude but then no one was that friendly from receptionist to caddy master. I would not play there again.

Course was very hilly and made some holes hard but was a good challenge and greens and fairways was really good and everything was good club house was nice

Quite a bit of sand on some of the greens but overall very good.

Similar comments the the Gramacho course i.e.: We were a party of 7 ranging from a handicap of 9 through to 28. A good test with some some holes offering great views. The only negative was the bunkers that seemed all to be very hard sand.

Great course in lovely condition. Pace of play was good. Club house was ok with plenty of seating.

Very hard and unpleasant course to play. Extreamly slow, we stopped after 10 holes as we totally lost patience.

One or two challenging holes over water and bunkers a plenty but again an enjoyable course.

Returned again from last year. Lovely course and well worth a visit.

Loved playing Pinta. Undulating fairways, severe dog-legs, tight fairways in places and bunkers you could take a beach holiday in.

Easy to see why this course is used for the Senior circuit. Beautiful course, lightening quick greens, great mixture of par 3, 4 and 5 holes.

the course was lots better than last year, we had a great day. Beer 5 euro's a pint little expensive bar could have been a little friendlier. pro shop! the staff from behind the counter to the gent that got our pull trolley's where great! very friendly. Buggies & electric trolley's just to expensive.

what another stunning course too. out of the 3 courses we played, I think this was my favourite..(just). some holes we found where challenging as being the first time we played we couldn't be aggressive, but next time we play we can. great course again...

Competent and friendly staff, a slick operation.

Was ok , condition definitely early season but acceptable. Staff ok apart from the “big I am” starter who obviously loves being in charge...absolutely no need for that

Disapointed in a late tee time had to finnish on the 15 th hole to dark to play,no tee times should be booked after 13.00pm.

Lovely course with beautiful views and in good condition. We had a buggy but lots of players were walking.interesting course with different levels and water.

A lovely course, but perhaps a golf cart is needed. Hilly and tiring.

Has allways been a test of Golf. Greens could have been better / quicker. And so could the round as it took 5hrs 10 minutes to complete. Lack of rangers to prompt slow players.

We like the course . However It seems to us that to speed up play they have moved a number of the yellow tees forward thus making the course easier and quickerto play . Not really happy about this

pestana do not allow you to reserve buggies even if you offer to pay for them there was a last minute scramble to get us buggies

Best course we played. Again buggy's expensive.

The steward went out to speed the course up as we were very slow at one point. The course itself is great with some beautiful holes and the clubhouse also.

Very enjoyable Golf Course. The greens were a little slow, but a good layout with a nice variety of holes. Most of our group scored well and we used most clubs in the bag as there are a good variety of shots to play We would all play it again
