In 2003, the course was revised slightly, with two new holes being added to reinforce the par-72 championship layout, while the club was also boosted with the inauguration of a six hole academy course.
With these improvements now well established, Palheiro is better than ever, and is an integral part of any golfing holiday to the delightful island of Madeira.
