The Nottinghamshire Golf & Country Club

Hotel very good. The evening meal was excellent better than other golf breaks although breakfast was cool but i'm sure they would have warmed it up if asked as the staff were excellent.

Rooms were spacious and very comfortable with modern bathroom fittings. The clubhouse is modern with a great restaurant and really friendly staff. Drinks are a very reasonable price (unlike many hotel chains!).

Good bar and breakfast. Lunch menu fine. Dinner menu v limited. Geared for carb eaters- pie, fish and chips, burgers. Nothing light and just replicated the hot choices from the bar menu. So disappointing but the desserts v gd. Staff friendly, helpful and organised.

Excellent accommodation and food

Rooms were really nice, well appointed and comfortable. Staff excellent, very friendly end helpful.

The hotel was quite small compared to some of the marriott ones i have stayed at. The bar and restaurant are seperated by glass doors. All the normal beers available. Dinner was a carvery which was pretty much as standard. Breakfast was help youself with all the usual fare. The pro shop was well stocked but pricey! All the staff were pleasant and cheerful.The bedrooms were on the small side but equipped with all mod cons,reasonable size bed and great shower.The only downside was lack of car parking.

Hotel, Bar & Rooms all fabulous. Staff cannot do enough to help & make you welcome. Food not quite up to scratch; breakfast needs to be hotter & 2 course table d'hote menu a little disappointing......but still fantastic value for money....& we will return!

Couldnt fault this hotel and golf course. Staff very friendly and always up for a chat. Food great and one of the best hotel rooms we've stayed in.

Played signature course.due to championship course.being so wet only open on 11 holes.played with another single player for 12 holes.would play again.really friendly,helpful pro in pro shop

More challenging than its sister Signature course with far more hazards regularly in play. Greens were reasonably quick and true, fairways good, tidiness good. Take plenty of balls!

A reasonably good challenge but unfortunately the greens had been hollow tined and top dressed. Good variety of holes.

Both fairways and greens excellent. A very enjoyable 2 days golf would recommend The Nottinghamshire to anyone.
