Great swathes of rough are complemented by enormous water hazards to present visiting golfers with more than a little to think about, not to mention the championship yardage that tops 7,100 yards.

Beautifully presented course with a lot of interesting holes, hard but fair until you get to the 18th! The wind wasn't from the prevailing direction which made clearing the lake beyond all but our single handicapper! The staff were very friendly and efficient. The fairways were lush, the greens true and the wildlife was varied with Cormorant, Heron and kingfishers all spotted on the way round. Only downside was the tees which were being tined and sanded with several of the ladies tees needing to be avoided. There were no tee marker placed anywhere so we had to find a fair spot for the ladies to tee it up.
