Los Naranjos Golf Club, located in the heart of the Costa Del Sol just 40 mins from Malaga airport, is one of Spain's finest parkland layouts.
The golf course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Senior and is a mix between the open holes of the front nine and more tighter back nine surrounded by orange plantations, olive groves and pine trees.
There are beautiful views over the golf course and surrounding areas which provides an idyllic environment in which to enjoy a round of golf.

Trent Jones Sr.'s trademark runway tees lead into wide fairways, and allow a variety of tee boxes to suit every visitor. The massive, undulating greens are heavily protected by expanses of white sand, and there are also a great many water hazards to be avoided.
Winding through the delightful groves of orange trees, Los Naranjos is always maintained in outstanding condition, making it a joy to play during a golf holiday in the Andalucian region.
The impressive clubhouse is equipped with a wellness centre, offering professional sports massage and fitness service. There is also a certified custom club fitting centre plus a new fleet of buggies.
Signature Hole: Hole 18, Par 5, 515 metres (563 yards), SI 5
A tough closing hole. This par 5 doglegs left, and it’s water along the left side of the fairway and up across the face of the green means that any misjudged approach shots or short attempts at the green in two, could easily find their way into the hazard. Concentration needs to be maintained in order to keep your scorecard on track.

Good course in good condition the only downside was you couldn’t take buggies on the fairways.

fairways were sanded. the fact that buggies were kept on paths increased the time for the round. would prefer to start our golf holiday with this course and would include in next golf holiday in May '20. the facilities were excellent and the starter Paco is a great ambassador for the club plus the water and bananas were a bonus.

Unfortunately our flight was delayed so we did not have time to use any of the facilities as we at to be on the tee otherwise a slot would have been lost. The course was well presented and the staff were helpfull.

The greens were an absolute disgrace covered in core holes and sand. The restaurant staff also charged us for food we did not eat. The starter was trying to push 2 balls 8n between us. Won’t be back!

The welcome given by the staff,the starter and the course Marshall was outstandingly good.All aspects of the course are excellent, the fairways are lush, the greens beautifully maintained, complex but fair.This course is ideal for the average club golfer and yet offers demands for single handicappers .

Easy check in and good facilities. Round took over 5 hrs - far too slow. No Marshalls monitoring pace of play. Fairways being overseeded so poor condition. Disappointed and would not play again.

As mentioned previously all courses got better and better as the week went on. All 8 golfers were complimentary about the trip in general but would have preferred a better hotel.

Hadn’t played here for 10 years but I can say I wish I had, great clubhouse, friendly staff, good buggies, cold hand towel on the first tee, great halfway hut. It all adds up to how you want holiday golf to be, other clubs could learn from this.

Welcome was super friendly and helpful. Well marshalled with really friendly, happy staff. Club facilities were excellent. Greens were a bit bumpy and not in best condition, but no real issues. Lovely course with a fantastic finishing Par 5 in particular.
