Leven Links is proud to have a true seaside golf course, and is home to the world's 11th oldest golf club. Leven Links is famous for their Gold Medal Championship they host every August, such winners as Lee Westwood have walked the fairways.

Leven Links starts a link heading North of quality golf courses and extremely underrated, Dumbarnie will add to the footfall but please come and play, Leven, Lundin Links and Crail 3 courses worthy of their status in Scottish Golf.

Leven, offers everyone something to do from great walks to fabulous cafes. But golf is the number one thing to do in the area, with easy commute to St Andrews and it’s famous courses, where else would you want to be.

The course itself loops out to the east, where it borders Lundin Golf Club at Mile Dyke, and poses some tough questions, particularly after the 13th hole when players must turn and head for home, battling against the prevailing wind.

The editor of Golf Monthly was generous enough to assert that the older part of Leven Links as "being one of the best stands of Bent and Fescues in Scotland". This quality has resulted in Leven repeatedly having the honour of hosting Open Championship qualifying when the prestigious tournament is played at nearby St Andrews.

This is a historic golf course, and is well worth visiting on the pilgrimage to St Andrews.

Beware of Scoonie Burn, which guards the green at the home hole.
