ONA Las Lomas Village La Manga

We stayed at a two bedroom apartment. Apartment was quite spacious with a comprehensive list of amenities and equipment. Although the apartment was well appointed, it certain small things looked a little tired and dated. That said it suited our needs very well. The staff were very helpful, but had to mark it 3 stars due to a couple of unfortunate incidents which could have been avoided.

Apartment a wee bit dated and a funny musty/damp smell in the bathrooms. Surprised to see CRT television in the bedroom ... thought flatscreen was de rigueur these days.

Very good for out of season trip. Breakfast and transport to golf was superb.

Apartments are roomy and well equipped. Ours had a stunning view out to the sea. We were half board and ate at Luigi’s every night where the food was delicious.

Fantastic location and the town house was perfect for our group. Everywhere very clean and tidy with plenty of facilities. The staff were top class, very welcoming and professional.

Nice apartments with superb views. Only downside was having to wait for the shuttle bus. You can't order in advance so you,need to give yourself plenty time especially if you're golfing and don't want to miss you tee time.

Everything at Los Lomas village is very good . Breakfast has improved every year . Still problems waiting for mini buses , especially from North and South courses .We had to wait one evening after game 50 mins to be pick up at 6-30 pm not picked up till 7-20.

The Town Houses at Las Lomas village offer a great space for BBQs with a large tear race area. They need a little modernisation but excellent location.

Accommodation was fine if a little basic and out dated. Main problem was the lack of shuttle buses to/from golf courses and La Plaza in an evening

Accommodation in general was good, perhaps a bit dated, biggest issue was the shuttle buses, very few and far between, we actually missed our tee time on the first day, due to waiting over 45 minutes, we walked everyday after that, which was very tiring, especially going back,there were numerous arguments, and altercations betweeen guests on this

Very nice townhouse. Could have easily self catered if thats what you wanted. Only thing was the shower,get this quite often,easy and cheap thing to have a good shower, this one was a dribbler. Everything else was fine.

Whilst the kitchens look very dated, everything was there and actually for a golf holiday it is fine. Bedrooms all en-suite are good and comfortable. Some outside furniture bit tatty but again can be overlooked due to being on the golf course most of the time so not high on the list of criteria you may expect on a normal holiday but the facilities are excellent and the internal transfer system is amazing. Taking you to supermarkets, golf courses, restaurants and pick up service till 2am so a really good set up. Communal swimming pool lovely, reception staff helpful. Fabulous golf holiday (but think a bit of investment in the kitchens is due and more modern tv etc as very dated)

There was ten of us on Los Lomas Village. Very good accommodation, we had three townhouses between ten of us. They were all upgraded from two bedrooms to three bedrooms, so we all got a room each expect one pair. The rooms were good, like most people say, they could do with a light refurb. But for the amount of time you spend in them they do the job. We had a day at the pool, very good, plenty of sun loungers, very quiet, personally I would have liked a pool bar and some background music, but that’s just me. Breakfast at Luigi did it’s job. The bars and restaurants we very good, we went to some on site and some just off site, our favourite was Si Bar, but Luigi was very good, and The Village was very good for lunch/drinks. The shuttle service was very good, just ask the staff wherever you are to call them and they are usually there in 5-15 minutes. Nightlife was good but nothing special, we went to Mulligans and The Last Drop. All the staff whoever we were were very good. The only nightclub in the area was closed because it was the end of September, probably the only thing missing really, even for a group of fifty year olds.

Accommodation was spacious,clean with great views. Comfortable bed. Bathroom, although dated, was well equipped. Convenient for the pool, restaurants in the Village.

We were allocated to 4 people sharing a town house when the booking stated 2 people sharing. Shuttle bus service is poor, not enough minibuses for the amount of guests.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.The restaurants on site did not open till 7pm and a terraced bar .i only eat at luigis fantastic food little pricey.pool 20 feet away great. Shuttle bus very hit and miss .twice waiting 45 minutes to get back to village not funny in 30 degree heat .

Very good accommodation and helpful staff. The shuttle service consists of only 2 mini busses covering the entire resort which meant on occasions there were delays. Only other concern was the rooms were not attended to after first night but were after second

We stayed in a 1 Bed Town House which was directly behind reception fully adequate for all needs really good place to stay perfect for a family

This is the third time we have picked through YGT, and 2nd time to La Manga, love it, love it, love it. I booked the flights, picked the destination, then told YGT to get on with it, as usual, transfers we bang on time, top quality accommodation all sorted, golf times and buggies pre arranged. We had a fantastic weekend, thank you YGT 👏

We stayed in a two bedroom townhouse in las lomas Village, these townhouses are in need of a major renovation, baths had enamel chipped off, taps that wouldn’t turn off, toilets dripping all the time, dishwasher basket rusty were plastic covering has come off, the Television was about 20yrs old with a grainy picture

Perfect place for golfers, 3 bed house all with en-suite, shuttle bus on call till 2am to drop and collect for golf and bars and restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyed it and the courses were fabulous. One comment, the pool was too cold so hardly anyone used it and what few children there were couldn't get in it and for those brave enough didn't stay in long. But 100% for golfers who didn't rely on the pool

Hotel was very nice

We had a very good holiday overall. However , Las Lomas Village is not an hotel as such . In the end we had a very good apartment Rooms for us 4 elderly adults -2 couples - 671/672 , but we were lucky to get it . As we had first been offered 2 very ordinary hotel type rooms on the ground floor with no real view/aspect . The method of offering the accommodation when you arrive at Reception did not seem to us very satisfactory , as you have no real idea as to what range of units are actually available . We were very lucky , with our large apartment .

Fabulous accomodation in a twin room town house in the village, all the amenities that you need, and every home comfort, in a word Brilliant.

Apartments are well furnished and have everything that you would need for a self catering stay including in apartment laundry facilities. The apartmentb was starting to look a wee bit tired and could do with a fresh coat of paint all round plus a bathroom and kitchen remodel.

From getting there to coming home everyone was so helpful.

We arrived 3 hours early for check in and was greeted be a lovely lady who asked housekeeping if our room was ready. Which it was. So we got in early. Changed and straight to the West course. The staff are amazing. So helpful and friendly. The room itself was very basic but for me that's all I need. Somewhere to sleep and shower. So it suited us perfectly.

The townhouse we stayed in was a little tired (no 62). 2nd twin room,shower head wouldn’t stay up,towel rail not working, damp patches in bathroom and strong smell of drain. Main bedroom and living area was all ok. The resort on the other hand was outstanding. We ate out every evening and couldn’t fault any food anywhere. Luigi’s restaurante on New Years Eve was a fantastic night. All 3 courses are quality and offer 3 different challenges. Will definitely be visiting again.

rooms were great however due to the location ie Golf courses and bars requiring a shuttle bus or taxi not ideal. we found we were waiting for a long time for a shuttle just to go for a drink we were a group of 12 which meant we needed 2 shuttles bars at resort shut at 7pm !

My second stay in Las Lomas Village. This time in a townhouse. It smelled and felt damp and there was only TV in one bedroom. The TV in the living room didn’t work well. Overall disappointing accommodation. Not the usual Las Lomas standard.

The room was well appointed but old and the balcony faced north east so little sun. The heating was off in the building and the rooms were cold until we insisted that it was turned on. Even so it was impossible to dry towels due to lack of heated space/rails. Breakfast at Luigis was second rate. The indoor pool opposite was accessed via a route that involved countless steps and the opening hours were limited 10am to 3.30pm and 5.30pm to 8.30pm

Accomodation was very basic, but clean and spacious. Beds comfortable, clothes storage a little sparse for 2 people as 1 wardrobe was full of hot water tank. Only cleaned and serviced every other day which was surprising. Location in relation to the main bars etc was a little far, but the superb shuttle service made this a non issue. Breakfast wasnt fantastic, but was edible and no waiting around for a table. Price really negates all of the negatives as it was a good price.

Not 4* - but a good location and easy access with the free shuttle buses. Needs a little redecoration. Luigi's for breakfast and dinner was good.

Another excellent four day stay at La Manga . Three courses excellent . Must say the West course was in top condition , but still a very tough course. My only complaint is that the mini buses that pick you up and take the group to courses and restaurants and entertainments are taking longer and longer to come and pick you up .Wevhave noticed a big difference over last few years .La Manga as a destination for golf is excellent and I would thoroughly recommend . Finally Yourgolf give an excellent service .My thanks to Alex .

We were received by friendly staff and the grounds were tidy. Our apartment (2 bedroom house) was amazing. A high standard was set for me and my 16 players. Restaurants and bars were friendly and always willing to help. 5 star!

rooms quite small and curtains did not close properly so morning sun shone through the window. an alarm sounded for an hour at 3 in the morning near our apartment and at another apartment where two others were staying a party went on until 6 in the morning. so overall average.

The twin bedroom apartments we stayed at were a bit tired and could do with an upgrade. Overall great location and easy access to the courses and restaurants. The restaurants are quite pricey but that is what you expect on a purpose built venue. Also the quality of the food is adequate but not fantastic. All the golf courses are challenging and mostly well maintained.

Stayed in the 3 bedroom townhouse which was of a good size, clean and tidy and served it's purpose spot on. Easy to get around with the courtesy bus although during busy periods it does take a while for them to turn up.

Good size apartments but let down by both shower screens allowing large amounts of water onto floors and tv not working in bedroom

Excellent golfing destination - great accommodation with 3 challenging courses

Golf Courses - We played all three courses on consecutive days, North/South/West, at a similar time as last year. Once again the greens and bunkers were in superb condition but the fairways are not as they were. It was clear they were not being watered as the ground was solid, particularly on the South and West. There was evidence of deterioration in the grass and they were not comparable with some courses further north, e.g. La Galiana. Most of our players live in Spain and are well aware of the general conditions and weather patterns.

Clubhouse - The North / South clubhouse is very comfortable and a good place to announce prizes etc. However the prices are high...€2.60 for a coffee! It just means we did not stay long. The West Course small restaurant / bar was closed and we had to find an alternative venue.

Las Lomas Townhouses - An excellent location, well equipped, maybe a little scruffy in places but generally well liked and good value. The included breakfast in the nearby cafe is adequate.

Location - Easy to find via the motorway system, set in a beautiful location with sea and mountain views. Two of our non golfing members went walking and really enjoyed the scenery.

Overall Verdict - 7 out of 10 this year

YGT Rating - Great service and prices. Will be using again.

The refreshments buggy was out of action the first day we played. We really missed that. The second day, it didn't appear until we were on the 14th green and pretty "hangry". I don't think that this is acceptable from an "exclusive" 4/5 star resort.

Take plenty balls. All too easy to end up in the water.

Very good indeed. Slightly surprised how much of an upgrade it was on the North course that we played the day before.

Six people on the trip and told on arrival that two of us may need to play with two people from outside our group. This possibility should have been mentioned when we booked the two tee times. North course was in pretty poor condition compared to South.

The most overrated course I've played. The worst of the 3 courses at La Manga. In very poor condition.

Championship course you have a number of long par fours and a lot of water .Very testing course that you have to plot your way around .Greens very difficult .Really enjoyed playing it this year .Price Of buggies is a big issue with our lads and La Manga may loose us to another complex in Spain or Portugal in future .

Only negative for first time we had to start on 10th . It is a very good course with some shorter par 4s teachable in two .There is also a couple of difficult par threes .Very enjoyable course to play , probably the one course out of the three you can score on .

Buggies are needed but price on all courses is 48 euros which is very high . The price seems to increase every year .Course is very difficult and therefore a lot of lost balls slowing play .The condition of the course has improved over the last few years .It is a course that is a very good test .

This is a long course and I can see why it is used as the championship course. Some nice looking holes with water features.

Championship course, very long and plenty of water. 5 and a half hours to play and we were not held up. Wide fairways so definitely need the driver on this one.

Considering the storm conditions of the previous days, we were lucky to play at all. Staff are well informed and very helpful. Everything needs some TLC but we enjoyed the course. It's a tight course when accuracy is more important than distance. Some great views.

Greens still showing signs of previous maintenance work. But great work by the staff to get the course back in shape after the recent storms. Staff are great at the caddie shack.

Lots of pitchmarks on all the greens and the greens were slow pace. We had to start from the10tee behind a large group of ladies. Very slow 5.5hr round, glad we had buggies.

Hardcore never had so much fun losing (8balls in my live) each hole is a great challenge. Everyone came of this course not quiet believing what they had just experienced slow due looking for yours and every ones balls brilliant must play again with a cart of balls. One tip leave the driver at home

Easier than south just as much fun the but finding the next tee was not straight forward poor signage luckily played with to regulars .water guys on course.had shot gun start tee up tenth .4hour round with no hold ups great course

Great course good test of your golf .but the round took (five and half hours) In my option to many players all going from first tee .on one tee we had two four balls in front of us waiting to tee off . Trolleys on course to by water off well needed got to my fellow players well .well run by caddy master fun and friendly. Pro shop very expensive collared shirt (115 euro) love to play it again

Hot 🥵 played well, some tricky holes, but very well maintained course, 2nd trip, so that explains everything.

i have a hip problem and hired a buggy but found out very quickly the buggy was diverted quite far from greens and and some par threes a difficult walk warden pushing us to play faster because course was busy due to West course closed explained about the walking problem and he allowed me to park 4m from green this helped. course closure not our problem golf is not a race

buggy tracks need lot of repairs tees are very sandy slippy and greens cored which we tried to avoid by checking the maintenance schedule which had changed

A more picturesque course with lots of palm trees and more water than the north but fine. Hard to say which I preferred as the North & South courses are lovely

For me as a 2 year golfer found some holes long so couldn't score well but not too concerned really as it was a lovely course with drinks and sandwich buggies around offering refreshments at all times. Not much water on this course but plenty of bunkers

2 very enjoyable rounds But our comments would be much the same as for the North Course . Especially with regard to the poor signage between the Green and the next Tee We are all aged , and very experienced golfers

We had 2 very good rounds , but the gullies / ravines did make it difficult-especially for our 2 lady golfers to carry many of the distances . We did not think the signage between Greens and the next tees was good enough .Several times we just did not see the signs , they were too small , or non existent .

A beautiful course and fantastic greens, probably the best course overall, the round was slightly ruined by over zealous staff continually pushing us along and telling us to go quicker to catch up with the group ahead of us even though that 3 ball had started the round a full hole in front of us, and we were 2 holes in front of the group behind us!!

Precision target golf which should suit the better player, quite hilly and smaller greens than the other two courses, good course management needed to score well here!

A great opening course, fantastic large greens that ran true.

The west course is not as manicured as the other two courses but it more than makes up when you consider the character. It is a course that you will love to go back to play again and again. It's not for the faint hearted !!!

This course is by far the prettiest course. Every view is special. Its long on the card but didn't feel long to play. Definitely one you should play. Greens are HUGE. Lots of water. All add to how stunning this place is.

An absolutely gem of a course. My favourite to play out the 3. Suited my game. The fairways and greens where immaculate. It was not overcrowded and we got round nicely. A course any golfer will enjoy

A stunning course but very tricky. Definitely no need for a driver here. Plot. Your way round and you'll enjoy it. Go to far offline and it's a lost ball. But still a great challenge. And the 18!!! Wow. What a hole.

I enjoyed this course the most. It had a good degree of variation and interesting holes, but very playable. The greens were slightly worse than the other two courses but still pretty good for this time of year

Only being an average golfer, the course was a little difficult but loved the challenge. Great course. So enjoyed it! Took longer than North but expected. Would love to go back. The staff at the club house and buggy hire were so pleasant and helpful!!

Over 5.5 hours to go round. Incredibly slow at the start with no evidence of active marshals. This course should only be played by those who have a handicap certificate which is less than 20 for men and 28 for ladies.Poor meal afterwards.

A good course but a few problems with the greens

Overall very good condition

This course is BRUTALLY hard in the conditions we played. Heavy showers and 60kph winds made this the hardest round of golf i have ever played. The course is super tight, tree lined, OB and hazrds everywhere. Throw in the winds and rain and you have a recipe for the highest score of the season, which i truly delivered. Not much in the way of practice facilities by this course which is away from the other 2, so if you have time hit the range in the main village before taking a shuttle or car the 5 mins to the West. We have some unfinished business here, will be back one day!! 1 small thing to note, our booking through Yourgolftravel had us down to play this course at 9.57am. When we arrived, we were told our tee time was 8.10 and that we had missed it. They did accommodate us and get us in around the time we booked, but there was some miscommunication somewhere.

Fantastic course, despite the high winds and raging hangover. THe course was in superb condition, the greens were soft and receptive allowing you to fire at pins. Fairways were more akin to greens in places, they were that well looked after. Again, speed was great, no waiting at all. PLayed this course again on the last day in 26 degrees and perfectly still. Despite being long, this is a course you can attack. Watch out for what felt like the biggest bunker in the world all the way up the right hand side of the 14th. Either smash your drive as hard and as far into the bunker as you can, to leave a 40-50 yard sand shot to the green, or place an iron on the slither or fairway up the right, leaving a much longer 2nd. Just dont drop it short or you will never make it in 2!

By far the easiest of the 3 courses, although the very high winds on the day made it difficult to judge whether this was easy or average. I would guess the wind cost us all a handful of shots or more which would have had me below handicap, so maybe on the easy side. IN general the course was in good condition, the greens felt hard, but relatively slow which made it difficult to get a read on. Quite short, but a good course for the first round of the week. Not busy at all, and despite not a course where buggies are mandatory, our 4 ball in buggies did not have to wait on more than 3-4 tees for the group in front, and even then it was only 2-3 minutes. Speed wise, couldnt have been much better.

A real length golf course - lots of position placement and glory shots to well protected greens. Wind was howling, which made the course very long. Greens in good condition, facilities in the clubhouse very good.

A very tight test of your accuracy and course management - very enjoyable. Tee box on 18th was a crowd pleaser. Limited club house and facilities but fresh meat on a BBQ was a nice touch

This is also an excellent course , it is a course which you can play well on as it is more forgiving than South and West . Saying that there is also some very difficult holes but it is not as long as south .Still a lot of water and again some holes that you won’t forget .

This course has improved in its condition over the last few years .Fairways the best I have ever seen them , greens also excellent .The course is very tough with a lot of holes which you have plan you way around . First three holes very tough and back nine has some excellent holes .This is a course you will never forget .

Championship course which is long with a lot of very tough 2nd shots into greens . Plenty of water hazards . Fairways in great condition ,greens stop on high shots also good but difficult to read .It is a tough but very enjoyable course .

This course is nice. A lot of walking from some whole but with a buggy it wasn’t a problem. The greens are the same as The South course but as I said. It was a minor. I just enjoyed the whole experience and trip. I would definitely take my boys back here again in a heartbeat.

This course felt a little cheaper than The North & The South course with not much of a practice facility but hey we can’t have everything. The course is a real thinking course so the big furniture is rarely needed so tests you irons to the max. I liked it.

The establishment was Great from the club house to the locker rooms. It’s was busy that day but that was it was Saturday when we played so slow play was inevitable. But hey when the sun is shinning and you are on a cracking course. There are not many other places to be. The greens weren’t impeccable to match the course but it’s to be expected with the weather we have had recently. Simply brilliant.

most of our golfers preferred this course rather than the south as it is easier and more enjoyable. we played a two ball scramble on this course and it was great fun. A few of the greens were patchy due to thatch but it was in good condition overall.

I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of the course. we played this course twice and on the second time we played with the orange ball where you add all the points your fourball scores with the ball. two players use it five times the other two four times. great craic but not for my fourball we lost it on the 2nd hole! first time around was 4 hours 20 second time just over 4 hours 30 but still very enjoyable.

Very tough and challenging course but beautiful and well worth it!

Best of the three course as interesting and you have to plot your way around as you do not need many drivers off the tee. Organisation a little like 'Falty Towewrs' as there are far less staff in attendance in pro shop or the course in contrast to the North/South course. Big down side was I pre ordered 3 buggies but I was told these were unavailable when we arrive as all buggies were booked out!

Great course in great condition.

We played late in the day so the greens were quite worn with the number of players that had been through them. I had forgotten how hilly the course was and would definitely book a buggy next time.

Well layed out course although you do seem to cross the road a few too many times. Course was a good challenge and in good condition, drink service on course was almost non existant.

Loved this course and some of the quirky holes, decent par 3's this course was most entertaining. Practice facilities not really available here, poor on course service by drinks wagon considering how long you are on the course for in the heat.

A 5 hour plus round but was fine in the sunshine. Good practice facilities and bar area. I feel the complex is short of golf buggies and they definitely need more drink wagons on the course.

Very similar to South course and least difficult of the three ,Had best game on this course but again the greens were a bit disappointing

Enjoyable course , due to being able to walk and appreciate the surrounding views ,Downside was the condition of the greens , badly pitched marked

Tough course but with some memorable holes
