A wonderful hotel , other than walking a long way to our rooms ,

Left some clothes In room now 4 days later and still no feed back. I would have expected a better response.

Staff very helpful, room excellent, food really good.

great hotel just a few minutes walk to clubhouse for north and south courses. Beds comfy, room good size and a good breakfast. Access to spa with good indoor swimming pool and jacuzzis, saunas etc, great for my aching muscles after golf

Considering how early we booked the trip we were disappointed to have been accomodated in rooms so remote from the bar and restaurant. Also compared with last year our room or rather the balcony was so small, with no furniture, we had a terrace before.

Lovely hotel and the staff are very welcoming and helpful.We particularly enjoyed our dinner each evening in the hotel restaurant,the quality of the food was exceptional

Fine if a bit dated

Hotel was quite luxurious when built but is beginning to show its age a little - but only a little ! Staff were friendly and very helpful and food (breakfast)was good - with a wide choice.

Booked a golfing weekend for my wife's birthday and it couldn't have gone better! Superb organisation from Your Golf Travel, everything worked seamlessly. The Hotel was nice and we received a room upgrade upon arrival. Really appreciate the advice to book Golf buggies before we travelled as they only have a limited number and folk who hadn't booked were being turned away. The courses were spectacular and the facilities great! Plenty of good local bars and restaurants nearby, can particularly recommend Dante's :-)

Hotel - as usual - was great. Only disappointment was that we did not receive the 100 Euro vouchers per room that we were told we would receive. Apparently the hotel claimed that they were never included in the booking. Could have easily used them while there !!!

Second time at the hotel I really enjoyed my stay and the next time can’t come quick enough

Very good all in all. The safe in the room was broken but other than that will definitely go again. And will definitely use your golf travel very efficient company.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Room we had looked a little tired, Decor etc and view from room (bottom floor) was not the best.

Our accommodation was very nice and we got upgraded on arrival free of charge.

Due to availability we had to have the superior room, no different to standard as far as I could see but nice and comfortable all the same. Prices in the piano bar are a joke €12 for a standard gin! Try La Barra and Dantes up the road, good food and better value. The courses were all in good condition and played well and not too busy in February this time. The new Corvera airport is convenient with similar travel time to the ‘old’ Murcia one as it is all dual carriageway. Thanks to Nick Bishop at YGT - all bookings as requested with no problems - a good value trip with nice warm conditions to boot!👍

The hotel is very good

Very enjoyable stay, good sized comfortable room overlooking the 18th. Breakfast not quite as good as I remember it but still good. Hotel restaurant and bar a bit bland, lacks a bit of atmosphere but still ok. Definitely worth a visit, we’ll be there again next year.

Excellent service. Carlos the concierge was exceptional and helped us to enjoy our break to the full. We will definitely visit again.

A great venue, only criticism was bar prices were excessive.

Great place to stay for the quality of staff and location central to golf courses. We hope to come again.

The facilities were excellent as were the staff. The self service Breakfast was rather chaotic and in my opinion could be improved.This was the only fault on an otherwise excellent hotel.

Excellent all round although the hotel room and foyer could have been anywhere in the world in that it lacked any local Spanish flavour, but all in all I guess it’s set up to deliver a practical functional experience for mostly international golfers

The room was ok but it had a damp problem and you could smell this in room and carpet in corridor was stained and constantly wet. Also was supposed to get 15 euro room credit but hotel refused to honour this deal which was annoying when settling water bill (3 euros for small bottle) at end of stay.

Accommodation was all we expected it to be having stayed there several times before.

Excellent golf break, good courses suitable for good players and less talented too! Very good facilities- food, accommodation and leisure.

North Course

Everything was as booked, collection at the airport was on time, hotel superb with excellent service, golf tee times were all as reserved - restaurants around the resort really nice with a free shuttle service.

Everything was of a good standard. Staff were very friendly and the local restaurants were of excellent quality.

Just a fantastic place and resort. easy to get about, we stayed in the hotel and you can walk to 2 courses with the caddy master looking after your clubs over night. The buffet breakfast was 5 star and a great choice of restaurants within 5 minute walk.

What a test of golf for all. You'll need to add more clubs for the up hill shots as the green eat the ball when they land. Par 3's what a variety of lengths. The 18th what a great hole to finish on.

Great course very difficult.

Difficulty was the length. Able to cope with this. Against paired with another couple. Course busy and it was slow 4 and 1/2 hours but an hour quicker than the previous day.

Very busy paired up with another party grand. Starter very helpful. Pace off play too slow competition on which might explain the pace. 5 1/2 hours

Played on our own. Not busy. Pace off play suited weather.

as above for south course, this course slightly harder as longer and more water. golf as it should be, in the warm sunshine with palm trees, but not so many they get in the way!

played off forward tees to make it more fun. You get paired off to make a fourball, our partners paul and Gaynor were great. Tee sign on and buggy pick up well organised. Fairways and rough good, bunkers a bit wet due to heavy rain day before, some pitchmarks on greens, I guess tourists fail to fix them! Practice facilities excellent

excellant course, really enjoyed it.

Lost a few balls this time, couldn't play to my handycap. Maybe will try again but not sure.

This is definitely not a course for the beginner or the faint hearted - often with ravines alongside the fairways as well as to be carried and with very significant elevation changes on the back 9 holes. Greens were in much better condition than either North or South courses - which could be because either those who play it are serious golfers who understand etiquette - or because few golfers wish to play it twice so volume of play is much less!

This is by far the best course at La Manga - an excellent layout asking many questions - fewer elevation changes than North course - but significantly longer - not quite so daunting in terms of carries. Significant wear damage on the greens same as for North course.

This is the easiest of the 3 courses at La Manga and - but is still quite long and with significant carries over ravines (barrancas)and water on a number of holes - not for the faint hearted or beginners ! Greens, unfortunately reflect the volume of play and also that many players don't fix their pitch marks !

This was the prettier of the two golf courses we played but we were unnecessarily rushed by the green staff. The folk in front were playing very quick and apparently a hole and a half ahead of us by the 9th but we were consistently ahead of the folk behind who were never on the tee before we left the green. Other than that, the course is lovely. Some big water hazards but nothing unplayable. Again, great advice from Your Golf Travel on which two of the three courses to play, and in what order :-)

I love the walking with Golf but this is a big course (9 miles) and we were glad we'd booked Buggies in advance (although they're expensive). The layout between tees seemed a bit haphazard with some log distances between Tees. The course itself was really nice but with an intimidating drive off the first tee over a ravine! :-)

The most difficult of all the La Manga courses. Our round here took 6 hours to complete. The course was extremely busy so a lot of standing around waiting to get on with the game.

Some tricky holes but it all adds to the experience!

Quite a technical course if you love your driver you may be disappointed this is a course management course for sure , challenging fir higher handicaps

This course is great for all handicaps , nothing too daunting I enjoyed it

Very unusual course with waterways at very close intervals to each other making club choice difficult for the average golfer. Nice views around the hills and countryside.

Par fives were unusual with severe dog legs

Another good course. Played this twice and greens were slow and woolly on first round but were little quicker 2nd time around.

This was defo the hardest course of the 3 but also the nicest looking. Expect lower scores tho and put your driver away

I would say the north is easier than the west but harder than the south. Was a lovely course greens we in good condition but a little slow. Bunkers on all courses get soaked by the sprinklers in the evening so play quite wet during the day

Despite my worst score this is the easier course as it is shorter with a little less water but plenty of ‘ barancas’. Quietest I have ever seen it when we played- 9.30 on a Friday morning- got round in record time. You often play back nine 1st here for some reason.

It is longer and therefore more of a challenge to handicap golfers with more water in play. Generous fairways give u a chance to keep it in play.

Driver not required on most holes - plot your way round.

Played West course twice as well Most definitely the hardest of the 3 courses but a must play if you go here Starts off easy but gets progressively harder as you get into the round Leave driver in your room when you play here as you need to be in fairway it’s not overly long but it’s tight with plenty of hazards to trip you up Par 3s are truly memorable and if you do make your par you will have deserved it Always aim for middle of the greens as going long ends in tears All in all it’s difficult but enjoyable at the same time Everything was booked through your golf travel and was spot on yet again looking forward to next trip with you Cheers Andy

Played South course twice also Harder and longer than the North but very enjoyable Plenty of water to keep you thinking Pace of play was excellent we were out at 9-03 as a 2 ball and didn’t see anyone else On 11th after a good drive take extra club to clear the water on second shot it plays longer than it states

Played North course twice The easiest of the 3 but still enjoyable Pace of play was good Greens were big and pretty quick just wish everyone would repair their pitch marks

We had a 13.25 tee and the pace of play was awful. We had to divert back to the first tee to get 18 holes in because we had only completed 6 holes after 1h 45m We won't be choosing La Manga again

The expectation is that this is a 4h 30min round on a course that should take 3h 30 min max. Our tenth tee time was 2h 15 min after our tee off. Far too slow

As a three ball we got matched up with a fourth even after making a specific request to play as a three ball

Generally Narrower and more interesting than the south with more water and ravines to cross. Enjoyable...condition same as the other courses.

Mainly Long straight-ish fairways with some interesting ravines. Enjoyed the course - greens were a bit ‘spongy’ and needed some repairs but overall good. A bit slow with a slow 4 in front taking their time and not really caring about the Q behind. Good time to go, nice weather, not toooo busy.

Lovely course - greens were in terrible condition, threadbare, lots of unrepaired pitch marks. I assume just end of season tiredness - but let down the playing experience.

More difficult terrain but still very enjoyable. Followed 3 ladies who I believe found the course very difficult, we were held on 12 tee's and not ever called through, needed a course marshal. Why are the buggy rental costs so expensive. Hope the greens get a rest, they need to recover from heavy use. It is evident that players spend a relatively long time on the greens.

The most difficult course of the three with very challenging left and right doglegs. Fairways needed to be landed on otherwise the result was usually a lost ball in the surrounding countryside. Enjoyed this course the most and if I get the opportunity to return I would play it twice. Some of the 'next tee' sign positions need improving for golfers on their first visit.

Different from the south course with approach shots requiring more thought but the fairways were just as good. Enjoyed the round.

This course was hard particularly playing it for the first time and not knowing the many peculiarities that make it special. This is certainly not for the faint hearted,the view from the 18th tee is spectacular and goes some way to ease the challenging drive ahead of you.

Best course of the three for me although probably easier than the West. As on the South course there was a lot of pitch mark damage on the greens.

Good course and interesting holes, not as difficult as the West Course. Rather irritating caddy master saddling our three ball with an additional player (although Juan was very friendly if slightly slow) then persistently telling us to speed up!

Very interesting and challenging course. Generally in very good condition.

First out meant we went round in under 4 hours. Nice course, lots of water but playable. Greens ok but again too many pitch marks creating deviation on key short puts. I guess all these courses are over played and this does compromise their quality. Fairways and tees excellent but overall they are not world class. It was my best round 37 pts so it was my favourite of the 3. Overall it’s what you might expect from a village complex I would give it a memorable 8/10 thanks to all the staff and your golf travel for organising our 2018 Heavy Tour. Cheers Peter

Much better condition and more forgiving than the West course. Nothing spectacular but faster round and most enjoyable. Elevated bar 38 overlooking the course with great staff and buzzing ambiance was cracking for a beer and burger after the round

Very tight narrow fairways, keep the driver in the bag except on the signature 18th. Slowest round I’ve ever played 5hrs 30 mins. 10-15 minutes wait on the tee on most holes. Greens not great because selfish ignorant golfers not repairing pitch marks. I maybe being a little critical as it was my worst round of the 3 ! On the upside really friendly typical pergola style Spanish bar at the club house

4 of our group decided to play the west course the only slot they could get was 8am so off they went and when they arrived found that the buggy shack was the only thing open. no refreshments at all as the catering/drinks was closed. when they were out playing eventually at 11-30 the drinks cart arrived.they thought the 400 odd euros was quite expensive to pay but to have no refreshments to 11-30 was disgraceful.however we all enjoyed playing the course the day before and had a very good meal after we finished playing.

the greens were very cut up and pitch marks all over the greens which tended to alter the putting line. other wise a great course

as for south course

the experience was good but greens need hollow coring as it is obvious by imprints on greens that thatch has accumulated
