La Cala Golf Resort

Lovely hotel, with large comfortable beds (Superior Room) and balcony overlooking the golf course. Breakfast buffet with wide range of options, always well stocked and hot. Not so keen on Bodega restaurant - had a tough steak that had to be sent back. Got a taxi into la Cala de Mijas (15 minutes) for last couple of nights and found some great restaurants!

couldnt have asked for much more really, stunning place friendly staff, and 3 great golf courses. Great value for money. Next time I would upgrade to a superior room, but thats just a personal thing as I dont like sharing

Fourth time at La Cala in February a golfers paradise with complimentary use of the spa every day we will do it again

The room was good and the Housekeepers did a good job. We had a lovely verandah overlooking the 18th hole of Asia course. So we were lucky in that sense. However the really big disappointment and it is a basic one, was that the food was sub standard. The quality was poor, very little in the way of fresh vegetables so most dishes were bland and stodgy. We were very surprised at this. Even the mushrooms at breakfast were just simply out of a tin. The Spa was nice and we used it frequently so this is definitely a plus. Two good tennis courts which we did not use but in good condition. Some games such as pool and darts and table tennis which were used by us as we were a father and son pair. However again small details let the resort down. Table tennis board above the squash court so when the ball is hit off the table, it often goes down into the aerobics or squash court area! Two minute break to go downstairs to retrieve the ball. The darts board and pool table in reception have no illumination? In summary the resort is in a nice location with great views to the mountains. The golf, which was the main aim of the stay, was not as advertised. Some of the holes on Americas and Asia are like crazy golf" - so steep with elevated greens that average golfers take far too long to play a hole. Due to this and the sub standard food, we would never book a holiday at La Cala again.

La Cala was a great choice for our 3 night golf break. Having 3 courses on site made everything really straightforward. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at the resort and the trip went like clockwork from start To finish.

Comfortable hotel but would have a car next time to access restaurants in Cala de Mijas as food choices limited for a week's stay. Spa is fabulous.

Perfectly adequate. All courses close to hotel. Also only 45 mins from airport. The rooms we had would be too small to double up but were perfect as singles. Housekeeping was excellent.Spa was not open unfortunately.

Rooms are well maintained with nice furnishings. Good bar area and we ate one meal under the stars. Food good but not quite to our taste. Views from the hotel are stunning. Pool area excellent. Staff extremely helpful.

The room was a good size, well equipped, clean, fresh and well serviced. The beds were a little hard but the linen was crisp a fresh. The breakfast was to die for and a highlight of the day. All the staff were welcoming, polite, friendly, and helpful, nothing was ever too much trouble. The pool area and staff were great and the spa top class. The hotel itself is not too big and therefore not overwhelming. We will certainly be returning next year.

Disappointed not to get a room upgrade ...10th visit....friends on their first trip , there on exactly the same dates , booked with YGT like us.....got an upgrade ! Feel that our loyalty to La Cala was ignored . Looking to go elsewhere next year maybe .

The hotel is good especially so for a golf trip. My only criticism and its minor was the lack of wine choice and the dinner options were limited. Breakfast though superb which is the important one before going out to play The Spa was brilliant and unexpected.

The hotel was very much off the beaten track. Very clean, staff were all very friendly and helpful and the food was good quality and reasonably priced. The room was spacious with every amenity you could need.

A wonderful hotel in a lovely location. The staff & facilities could not have been better. The only thing that tried to spoil it were the groups of screaming women that shriek their way around the pool. They were certainly enjoying themselves but they ignored everyone else (and ordered more, and more, drinks!). Shame! Brits at their worst.

From arrival to departure, the staff, services and quality was faultless. Booking in was simple, quick and efficient. The rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The service from the staff at reception, around the pool bar, in the dining areas and at the 'club house' was first class. Highly recommended !

We upgraded to Junior suites as the standard rooms were a little small for two sharing, Breakfast was excellent, the Bar service was excellent and the drinks were reasonably priced considering the measures. The food and service at the 19th Hole was exceptional.

The hotel is very good with comfortable rooms and balconies with great views. The SPA is excellent and the food and drinks were reasonable. All the staff were brilliant apart from the ones at the pro shop who issue you with T times and buggies. Every day there was an argument with these guys, basically we had paid for 3 and they only wished to give us 2 and kept asking for payment for the 3rd one even after I produced the paperwork! That was very disappointing and led to us being late for our times.

Absolutely fantastic hotel in dream location for Golfers, We had asked for & were given rooms overlooking the fantastic vista of the Asia golf course. Lovely balcony & outside room door we overlooked the pool. Pool bar fantastic and all staff at the hotel were so friendly and helpful. The Spa was greatly enjoyed and first class. I think we would all go back to this hotel like a shot.

Was given a lovely room overlooking the 18th fairway of the asia course. Only complaint was the size and quality of the towels very small and poor quality. Also not great choice of channel's on t.v.

America CourseMy favourite hole on the front 9 has to the 6th hole when it's played off the back tees (Whites for us mere mortals) that brings the carry over the "mess" into play and then leaves you with the choice of hitting your second shot to the bottom of the hill or trying to land your ball on one of the very small flat areas half way up the slope....wherever you do land your second shot the 3rd to the elevated green very often can catch out even the better golfers due to a misjudgement of distance - the front bunker saw some activity from our group On the back 9 then it has to the 18th with a 90degree dogleg teasing people to take on the corner and get round onto the very steep slope....you have to hit a long ball to get there so aim straight is my advice.....then you have a fantastic view back towards the hotel complex and also the Europa & America coursesThe best view on the course can be had on the 11th hole when you stand on an elevated tee box to this Par 3...to your left is a great view of the hotel and then in front of you is a superb panoramic view of the Europa course with the beautiful mountain range as it's backdrop.....plus as if it couldn't get any better in the distance you can see the coastline and beyond that the Sierra Nevada mountains

Great elevations give you plenty to think about. Getting your position right is required if you are not a big hitter. Greens are very receptive so go for the flag.

Your Golf Travel’s organisation for our recent holiday to La Cala was excellent and from pick up at the airport to drop off back there at the end of the trip, we did not encounter one single problem.

For our group of 12 golfers La Cala was superb, with three really great courses (which suited all levels of our group) all on site so no transfers were needed to and from the courses, making it very convenient indeed. The hotel and accommodation was top value with extremely helpful and friendly staff, and it was nice to relax around the pool after each round.

The Hotel prices were reasonable, but it was only a €15 cab ride into town each night and it was nice to sample some of the very good local restaurants.

All in all it was a great experience, and from the feedback of all of our group, I’ve no doubts you will be hearing from us soon to book another golf holiday for next year.

I thought both the Asia and Europa course's were excellent. Both courses are challenging, particularly if its your first time playing. Take plenty of balls! The condition of both was excellent, you definitely need a buggy on both. Hotel was excellent, spa was fantastic, food of a good quality, staff very welcoming.

Too many to name great holes to name just one. My grandsons favourites were 15 & 18. Loved the hotel set up.

The hotel bar had no atmosphere. The Asia course was very tight with some greens almost impossible to hold. Other two courses were ok but not particularly memorable. The golf club bar/restaurant was good.

3 courses and all of similar standard and difficulty. Drive carefully in the buggy due to serious slopes.

Really enjoyed the three courses, the hotel was fine but the drinks a bit on the dear side as you would expect being held on a golf complex, My advice is to get taxis into La Cala where there are more bars and restaurants, but saying that we all had a great time.

Too many great holes to choose a favourite. Hotel is always very good.

Lovely 30 minute drive from airport into the hills. On arrival the hotel looks and feels classy. If you can choose try to get a top floor room to enjoy the wonderful mountain views. We had a lower floor room but still enjoyed the tranquillity of the 18th fairway and wedding venue view. Breakfast was very nice with multi choice European food. The golf whilst sometimes intimidating, was very scenic and had great quality. Some holes seemed out of Jurassic park but were totally enjoyable. We ate a few evening meals at the hotel and they were fine. However, we discovered a local family owned a eatery about a mile down the road to the left and it was fantastic. Would I go back to la Cala? Yes.

Well worth a visit. The whole 'package' has something for everyone. You're bound to like at least one of the three courses. The hotel is excellent, the town of Mijas nearby is a nice, lively place. Overall, we'll return at some point in the future.

Keep it straight.

Hotel was fine but a bit far from other attractions so you need a car to go to the beach, etc. Golf buggy essential for older players due to undulating terrain.

All three courses are a challenge. Need to play for position rather than bomb it.

Hotel great. Good options for non-golfers. Partner off 28 struggled to reach several fairways from tees.

18th on all courses were excellent, but marvellous all round.

Did not stay in hotel. All holes are good and I did not have a favourite.

My favourite holes were the 12th on Asia, 13th on Europa and the 5th on America.

Great lunches overlooking course.

The three courses are all brilliant, a real test especially for high handicappers like me. The main tip for a newcomer would be, keep it on the fairway, even at the expense of distance, because the rough is, well, er....rough! The greens are well maintained for a course in constent use, and very fast. I can't imagine any golfer not enjoying these courses. The hotel is well managed, the only slight niggle is the main restaurant which is beautifully set in a courtyard but very expensive, and the food is not exceptional. There are no restaurants nearby that do not require a taxi ride to reach them.

The first hole was excellent, will never forget it. The tenth was great too! You really have to go for it.

Only played the European and American courses as the Asia was under maintenance. Both courses were in great condition and it wasn't overly crowded with players so you could really enjoy the round. 

Hotel was great, the only slight drawback to La Cala is the distance to restaurants, shops, etc.

3 really interesting courses - Europa is our favourite.

Very hilly terrain, you will need to use a buggy. Restaurant very good, excellent breakfast and short drive to nearby town offered a good mix of places to eat. Hotel is very nice with a big pool and nice spa. Will visit again.

Rooms great as we upgraded. Friendly staff. Favourite course was Europa and my favourite hole was 4 on Europa.

The three courses at La Cala all have their own special characteristics, with spectacular scenery from almost every hole being the one common factor. The Asia Course is a fairly tight, unforgiving 18 holes and needing a fair supply of balls for the average player to complete, I stopped keeping score at Asia after the first 9.

America is a very pleasant, friendlier 18 and the Europe Course has some really good testing holes. This one let me note my best score ever, 60 net.

Many holes at La Cala have considerable height variations. La Cala gives players at all levels a good test of their abilities. The course when we were there was well maintained with both fairways and greens good.

We really enjoyed the golfing experience, being picky the only negative point being the bunkers filled with grit instead of sand.

The hotel had very friendly and helpful staff, rooms were pretty average but acceptable. There is a very good selection of wellness facilities, mostly included in the room price; a really nice place to hang out and relax after a round of golf!

Breakfast was the culinary highlight of the day and was very, very good indeed. However, disappointingly this wasn't the same in the restaurant at lunch or dinner – a very limited menu, slightly expensive and in our experience poor quality. We quickly decided that lunch and dinner outside of the hotel would be preferable.

There are many tourist restaurants in the local town at the coast just a 10 minute drive away but just two minutes from the hotel there's a very good restaurant which we often frequented.

Car hire is so very cheap in Spain, and we’d highly recommend this to have the freedom of your own.

La Cala is an experience we are intending to repeat in the near future.

On behalf of our group I would like to thank YGT for organising an amazing golfing holiday for us. The La Cala resort was spectacular. We were fortunate enough to play all 3 courses which were all in fantastic condition. The layout of the holes were amazing and having a variety of tees for different abilities ensured all our party from low to high handicappers enjoyed the experience. We cannot decide which of the courses we enjoyed the most as they were all so varied with spectacular views. The thing we were most impressed with was the friendliness of the staff. On previous trips we have felt under pressure from rangers pushing us and hurrying us even if we couldn't go any quicker due to the groups in front!! However in La Cala we had a lovely reception on the first tee and the rangers came round to ask us if we were enjoying our round and if there was anything they could do for us- so refreshing.

On completion of our round we ate at the club house where they was a lovely and reasonably priced menu. We then retired to the spa which was fantastic. With a complementary 90 mins a day in the large outdoor and indoor bubble pools we felt so relaxed.

We ate in the hotel for 2 evenings and down in La Cala town for 2 nights, a taxi is just 13 euros into the town.

The rooms were adequate but had lovely large balconies where sat out at night which was a nice bonus.

The transfers from the airport organised by YGT were great. They were there waiting for us and helped with the luggage. The drivers were really friendly and gave us lots of information about the area.

Overall this has been our favourite golf resort and we have been going as a group for the last 7 years. We would definitely return and would highly recommend for any group wanting great golf and good service.

We would also be more than happy to recommend YGT. I certainly won't be using anyone else to organise my holidays. As the group organiser it was hassle free and so easy. Thank you.

Busiest of the three courses we played, with a number of log jams at various holes. Needed a course marshall to hurry people along, or make them call faster groups through!

Dramatic opening hole, with elevated tee - my strategy of landing on the cart path to the right of the fairway worked well! Lots of elevated greens, which were all very quick compared to the UK in March!

Least busy of the three courses we played, allow 5 minutes to drive buggy to 1st tee. As with all courses, a number of elevated greens, and blind tee shots. Easy to lose balls when they go over the horizon. 18th is a bit of strange hole to finish on, driving off down a cliff face!

Perfect. Buggies great, first day we have one equipped with satnav. Course really lovely.

This was personally my least favourite of the 3 but most of the group rated this second. Still a lovely course with a great first drive.

The views are good, but not so good as America course. No GPS system provided. No free water provided.

Only America course provides GPS map in the buggy, and I could feel the same environment in Korea. To hit the second shoy, I could use the GPS system, and it enhanced my score efficiently.

A good and challenging course but again playing for the first time made club selection and alignment very difficult.

A number of holes were very difficult playing there for the first time where club selection was hard. Additionally the bunkers - of which there were many - were very poor.

This was an enjoyable course, with good views of the mountains and coast. The fairways are reasonably wide and I did not lose any balls, for a change.

Didnt like this course at all (and neither did several other people we met and spoke to. Course has really steep sides that make it difficult to keep your ball on the fairway. Even if you hit a sensible tee shot, the course 'features' can put your ball out of play. It was soft after the rains, but there was only 1 ball cleaner we found during the round. Took 5 1/2 hours to complete. staff didnt seem too bothered

This was 100% our favourite course. Finally a normal design with some really lovely testing holes. The Europa course is the one that follows the course of the Rio Ojen for quite a number of holes - it is therefore flatter and a much truer test of golf. The 17th and 18th holes are again similar in incline to Asia and Americas but those are the only two. We really enjoyed the Europa course.

Not much to add from the above Americas report. This was the course where we went in early due to the slow pace of play. We started late (this only happened on one day) because the buggies had not been charged. There was a big backlog of people to go out all of who had missed their tee-off times by 10 to 20 minutes. Many buggies were only half charged - the couple we played with had their buggy run out of battery power on the 10th hole. I spoke to the Golf Course Manager after our scuppered round to inform him of the problems. Especially we stressed the fact that there were no marshalls speeding up play - we had even seen 4 balls dropping second balls just to get more practice in. The Manager said nothing to give us any confidence that this could or would be rectified. Again this course suffers from the same incline problems of the Americas course. You can hit a really good drive and the ball rolls from right to left right across the fairway and into bushes. I have never seen this on any other course! Its a design fault! Of course there are some nice holes too but overall the inclines and elevated greens result in slow play. Not having marshalls on such a busy golf resort is unforgiveable.

The Americas course is billed at the best at La Cala and is more expensive than the others. The fact that we changed our final day golf to the Europa course, tells you what we thought of the Americas course. People need to realise that the location is full of very steep hills and valleys. So building any course here was always going to be a huge challenge. The Americas course is the steepest and most hilly of all the courses. Most of the golfers were in the older age bracket of both sexes. Due to the steep terrain, many were not able to negotiate the steep incline shots and their balls would roll down these crazy hills past where they hit their shot! This just resulted in very slow play. Sadly no marshalls were visible anywhere on any of the courses so a round can take up to 5-6 hours. On one day we just gave up at the 7th hole as play was so slow. Out of the 3 courses we rated Americas as the worst based on the fact that too many holes were just ridiculously steep (most are elevated greens) and the slow pace of play.

Difficult start with narrow and sloping fairways. Gets easier but not my favourite.

Wide fairways very encouraging. The building work in progress around the resort with noisy machinery and workmen did distract at times. A driveable 400 yard hole is uncommon but there is one here !! Memorable finish.

Some very unfair kicks , rolls and bounces due to extreme undulations but great fun in trying to work out course management. We played Europa first which is a hard act to follow. Tees not great but fabulous views more than compensated.

We had the perfect golfing day. The 4th hole very special. Happy with a bogey there. Truly fab.

One or two unattractive beats up steep hills to the green, but generally accommodating a bit of inaccuracy and some good opportunities to open the shoulders. Generally, La Cala is worth a visit, and the director of golf, Flavio, was very friendly and helpful and enabled us to play nine holes on our last morning before leaving to catch our flight.

Our favourite of the three, with good holes on the first half in particular and a better-designed approach to the undulating terrain.

This is a very hilly course with some silly holes, very hard to play decently on the first acquaintance - and I don't think I would want to play it again. The buggies do not have GPS (as on the America) and judging distance is very difficult as few shots are on the level.

The last course to have played at La Cala resort. Just like the others a fantastic well set out course. This is probably the shortest of the 3 but a challenge none the less. No room for way ward tee shots. Great service at La Cala once more. Would recommend all 3 courses.

Slow . It is boasted La Cala holds the record for most players playing over 3 courses . I can only imagine how painful that must have been for at least 30 percent of the people who would have been inactive ! They must have a ridiculous debt to service to warrant the pace of play which is slow !!!!

This course off the tips was the most challenging for our group with an emphasis on accuracy and carry distance but really enjoyed it.

This course was due to be re done as in greens relaid etc , so was in an average condition

Fantastic set up at La Cala and staff are great too. The course was beautiful with the only complaint being that the greens at Asia were very hard and the ball didn't stop on the greens. Overall the course didn't reward good shots but was very enjoyable.

We thoroughly enjoyed this course, although it is not give the same status as the American. The buggies were not as good and no trimmings. We played at 9.30 ish and played as a two ball in just over 3.5 hrs. It had great views and was a very enjoyable challenge.

We were paired with a delightful couple of a similar standard and enjoyed our round. The buggies were top class and all the golf staff were very efficient and helpful. The pro shop was well stocked and the 19th hole was a pleasure to visit.

Played at 8am each day so we were never held up. The bunkers were poorly kept ...golfers were probably to blame but each day they were still poorly raked from the day before.

A good test of golf. Always in top condition. Always a pleasure to play.

The Europa course was out of action and we had to play the America course which was tough with many blind shots and fairway run off difficult to stay on the course in places

A very good test, most of the greens on the Europa and America Course had false fronts, with pins located at the front, so getting the ball close was quite a challenge. Loved all 3 course, my preference being the America, Europa followed by the Asia. Unfortunately, the green staff were in the process of replacing the greens on the Asia course, so were quite brown, and very fast. So I now have some idea what putting on PGA Tour greens is like :D. Can't wait to go back. The only real negativity, was the staff in the bar. They were very rude. and not very accommodating, especially when we tried to request separate bills (1 per 4-ball). Also, be wary of taking plenty of water on the Europa Course. Our first day had temperatures in excess of 30C, and with no drinks buggy, meant most of us were dehydrated by the end of the round. All in all, a very pleasurable experience, and would definitely return to play the courses again.

Well the greens was very bad didn’t get told till sitting on buggy they could have moved us to one of the other courses never mind they have let us have a free game next year I really like playing at la Cala

Probably the best course I have ever played for stunnimg scenery. It really was perfect. The greens were rubbish however they were about to be re done so timing was not great ! The course though is a must to play, quite short but you need to think and plan your way round, one of the most enjoyable games I have ever played

Played twice first time 5hrs 20mins, 2nd only 5 hours! It is a challenging course but wont worry anyone with sub 18 H/C. Greens ultra fast. My only negative was the bunkers, it was not sand more shells, very hard.

This was a returning round from a previous year so we knew what to expect. La Cala resort is a quality golfing experience. Course was excellent with speedy greens and it was definitely a benefit to have played it before.

My favourite course. Punishing in places (Hole 4 is a monster) but good scores are possible, with care. Lots of variety to keep you interested. Hole 18 is a bit of a problem because the slope is so steep that you can drive into the group in front if you're not careful. You definitely need a buggy on this course

A course with some quirky, and very interesting holes. Be prepared to lose some balls. Great fun to play and with a really nice finish right in front of the hotel.

New buggies with all the electronic gizmo's fitted. A very enjoyable course. Not quite as difficult as Asia & Europa.

Probably the best with Asia, everything as it should be, first class.

Overall a very good course with a good mixture of holes for every handicap, again would like option to use different tees than the front yellow ones.

Everything is what you want from holiday golf, would like the option to play from different tees than just yellow as they have them to far forward on most holes, especially for the ladies.but it didn’t spoil our enjoyment.

Great course. Had me best score of the week. Even if the others scored less I loved it. Wide open. Would love to play all 3. Big let down was reception where we booked in. I was told we couldn’t have another biggie which we didn’t have on other courses so went out in a 2 ball and a 4 ball due to tee’s being booked up. When we got to tee box starter didn’t know this and said was only a 4 ball in front so as you can imagine the 2 ball flew round and the 4 ball was slow. Big group of players behind had plenty of 3 balls going round so got even more miffed then. Also direction round course on back 9 was not very well signposted.

Billed as the 'easier' of the three courses at La Cala, In my opinion (as a very average golfer) this was the more challenging. Slightly less forgiving for wayward shots and one that needs careful club selection to ensure better options for the second and third shots. I can't remember any other course where I've had to take a driver to a par 3 and still come up short of the green (Hole 14. 217 Mtrs with the wind in your face). Another great course worthy of playing again.

Lives up to its billing of being the 'premier course' of the 3 on the complex. The first tee is an experience in itself and from there on in the course gets better and better. You can certainly get your driver out more often and a little more forgiving for 'wayward shots'. A great test all round with some fantastic holes and the scenery around this (and the other two courses) is fantastic. Definitely one to play again !

This was the first of the three courses we played and it didn't disappoint ! A good test for all levels of handicap and you certainly need to 'plot' your way around. Fairways in great condition (if you manage to find them) greens quick but not 'lightening'. Would love to play it again.

Comments as above but it made it was a much more enjoyable experience being able to drive on the fairways with the buggies especially as our girls were driving and coming round with us.

Tee off time was 9 o'clock and we never really saw anyone all way round. The course was in excellent condition, the only negative we had was that the course had been fertilised and although we were told at the clubhouse the entry onto the fairways for the buggies was 90 degree as usual we weren't able to go on the fairways as the buggies had been restricted for that day.

Bunkers not in great condition and very different sand quality to other two courses.

Needed to drive the ball well as landing areas very slope orientated, so ball ran off much of the time.

Round one more pleasant as weather was warm with little wind, second round more difficult due to 50kmph winds and cooler.

A thinkers course, use your irons for the first four holes!

My favourite, closest to the hotel and a little easier than The Americas.

The best of the courses and the new GPS is an added advantage.

Top notch course. Excellent condition. Some hard long holes for driving, which made it difficult for some of the shorter hitters. But still excellent

Course in good condition with great views. Some narrow greens, but some par 5’ s reachable in 2 shots. Fantastic finishing hole.

8.50 tee time so no hold ups and did not see anyone behind us. Course was well maintained and as we hold 14 and 22 handicaps felt it gave enough challenges without being too difficult. Staff pleasant and efficient.

Fabulous course....undulating to say the east and quite testing in places. Beautiful to be surrounded by the mountains, lovely water running through the course. Fabulous day of golf....Loved it

Did not like playing with 2 women off 48 and a beginner course too difficult for them Annoyed because they were a group of 6 so they play 3men with best woman Then did my own booking at Puerto Romano to play call at Marbella club golf course which was great Thro afriend

13 H'cap, this is the best of the the three, most picturesque with lovely water features and again detail to bunkers and foliage perfect, can't praise this course enough really.

13 H'cap, was narrow compared to the USA course as expected, great detailing with bunker sand and foliage, great track.

im a 13 H'cap and found this to be an exceptional course, attention to detail was very clever with USA type fairways bunkers and greens all very reminiscent of what i see on tv week in week out, loved it.

This was the course that Our friends joined us. I beleaguered this was the best course of the 3 but that maybe I scored 38 stableford points.

Again we enjoyed both the course and the Man and women from Finland who could talk good English ( which was a good thing)

We both enjoyed the experience of the course and the two Scotish gents who apparently go every year

Great start to the three course trip

An excellent golf course and the best of the bunch, I would have no hesitation in recommending this to golfers of all levels. However we were all disappointed to have to argue with the staff again to get the 3 buggies we paid for! That was every day they tried to give us 2 and asked for payment for the third one! This daily debate really annoyed us and I am disappointed that it did take the shine off what was a really good complex.

Found this course a bit disappointing, it was a bit shabby compared to the America course and play was very slow probably as a result of the level of difficulty. Again buggy fiasco was encountered even after we produced all paperwork on day 1.

The course was pretty good, however the staff who provide the buggies were a nightmare! We were in a group of 5 and had paid for 3 buggies in our package, but the staff were adamant we were only getting 2! I produced the paperwork and we still had to argue to get what we had paid for! in fact we were late and stressed for our T as a result of this

GOOD TEST OF GOLF,ENJOYED THE CHALLENGE

Not overly impressed with layout which is not suitable for more mature / higher handicap golfers. Not in great overall condition.

Fantastic scenery. Very hilly course, so glad we had buggies. Bunkers were so different to the America Course. Instead of soft sand the bunkers were a hard gritty surface. Much better greens though. Great driving course.

Scenic course, with very soft sand in the bunkers. Greens not so good.

Not as good as the other two ,bunkers very difficult due to soft sticky sand. Greens not as good as the other courses.

Asia course was probably the best course. Rolling fairways with stunning views. In great shape and a little more water than the other courses.

Not quite up to standard of the other courses but still a great course with stunning views. One big beef was that the gravel/sand in bunkers is terrible to play from around the greens. Also needs better directional signs green to tee.

Fantastic course with views that will live long in the memory. Well maintained for the amount of use it gets. Could do with better directional signs from green to next tee.

As usual the course in September is very busy so you can expect a slow round.
