Heacham Manor Hotel is in a superb location, just 10 minutes from the beautiful Norfolk beaches and area of outstanding natural beauty. The hotel is only a 20 minute drive from the market town of King’s Lynn.

The hotel, which was originally an Elizabethan Manor House, was renovated and refurbished in 2009. So today Heacham Manor is a luxury Norfolk hotel offering accommodation which is fresh, elegant and extremely comfortable.

Heacham Manor Golf course opened in 2009 and is already rated in the top 100 stay and play resorts in UK and Ireland (Golf World magazine). It is a great test of golf with generous fairways allowing you to let fly with the driver, it also has some of the best greens in the area, the course is designed in a links style and suits all levels of golfer.

The front nine are American links style, a winding stream fed by a weir protects the front of the short par three fifth and the signature hole of the seventh has a large lake which requires a well-struck shot to carry the water to the green. The back nine enters parkland, with views of the wash from the newly remodelled fourteenth hole, leading you down to the fifteenth where you play from an elevated tee down towards the beautiful Heacham Manor hotel. The natural features of the Heacham and Ringstead rivers run through the 16th, 17th and 18th holes and makes an interesting finish to your game.

Heacham Manor

The Heacham Manor Golf Course has two different characters – this is down to its stunning coastal location.

The 18-hole golf course is designed as an American-style links course and incorporates the natural features of the area of important landscape it lies within. It will certainly challenge all levels of golfer. It starts in a parkland style, heading up Redgate Hill through mature and newly planted trees. However this scenery soon changes to a links style with higher mounds, more shrubs and raised sloping greens which really add to the challenge and make for an enjoyable and contrasting round of golf.

At over 6,000 yards from the yellows and with some of the best greens in the area, the golf course provides not only an excellent test of your skill, but is also the perfect location for a round of golf surrounded by stunning scenery.

The course is perfect for all levels of golfer, as there are 5 different sets of tee positions. The back tees will stretch the course out to its championship length of over 7,000 yards, but the front tee boxes means that it can play to around 5,700 yards at its shortest.

A 9 hole course just a stone’s throw away at Searles Leisure Resort can also be used free of charge, as can all of the leisure facilities there.

We were mental. We went out in the storm took our time got blown around but had a good time greens were done as best as they could due to the weather and fairways were boggy but playable.loved the half way hut for a pee and coffe. Staff were brilliant in the club house as we got soaked and let us.leave our clubs in the room to dry out and let us get changed after they had closed. Thankyou

2nd time back here. Golf course still maturing. Greens were hard to read as speed varied from hole to hole. No real complaints but the fairways needed a cut as some long whispy grass in the middle of some fairways. A real challenge when the wind blows which is why I’ve rated it hard. When no wind it’s average

We are beginners and really enjoyed our first 9 holes on this Course. The wheather was nice btu unfortunately on our second day we had heavy rain and had to stop after 12 holes becaues we were completely wet. We love hole 7 but had to spend quite a lot für donation :-) Thanks for this great place.

Second day was better as they mowed the fairways but first day was a bit rough. First time any of us had played the course which was quite long as it was quite a walk from green to next tee at times.
