Champ de Bataille is a fantastic layout, having been voted Normandy's finest golf course by European Golf Magazine in 2005. Often mentioned in the same breath as Wentworth and Woburn - two of England's most prestigious championship names - Champ de Bataille was designed by the American Robin Nelson, in consultation with French landscape architect Thierry Huau.

What a wonderful golf course and in superb condition. excellent practice facilities. the staff in the club house and pro shop could not have been more helpful. The food was excellent and could not be faulted. Overall this has been one of my most enjoyable golf experiences.

A very tight woodland course with some interesting holes on the front 9. Opens up a bit on the back 9 so good for all levels of golfers. Some long par 5’s for big hitters but need to be accurate. An enjoyable days golf.
