The Old Course Vilamoura is among the Algarve's most established resort layouts and is often described as the ‘Grand Dame' of the region, having been inaugurated in 1969. Found in Vilamoura, in the heart of the Algarve’s stunning southern coast, The Old Course can be easily accessed from any of the fantastic hotels around the resort.

Old Course Vilamoura

Measuring 6,839 yards, the Old is by no means the longest by modern standards, but it has certainly stood the test of time. Frank Pennink's original design has seen minor alterations, particularly in 1996 when a brand new clubhouse was also unveiled, but the course is predominantly the same as it was in its early days.

Signature Hole: Hole 16, Par 4

This intricate par 4 doglegs to the left, calling for an accurate drive to ensure your second shot isn't blocked out by the surrounding trees. The Old Course will test better players while still being fair enough on the higher handicappers.
