The mature layout was originally designed in 1934 by Dr.Charles Molteno Murray, and since then it has developed into an interesting and demanding test. The layout is not particularly long, tipping the scales at just under 6,500 yards, but the subtle design ensures that there is sufficient challenge.
Narrow fairways, dog-legs and some of the best greens in theWestern Cape are assured at the excellent Clovelly Country Club, which is an excellent addition to any golf holiday around the South African Winelands.

This is a very pretty golf course very lush and a fairly easy walk, the staff were all very friendly, club house and food was fine. We would play it again, well worth a visit. We had a buggy.
