Golf Courses at Casa de Campo Golf Resort & Villas

Teeth of the Dog Course

Dye famously stated that ‘I created eleven holes and God created seven'; to explain this, it is necessary to have some insight into the remarkable terrain that the course spans. The seven holes that track the craggy Dominican coastline represent an unforgettable golfing experience, where the margins for error are barely visible, but where the views are truly mind-blowing.

The Links

With wide fairways giving way to challenging green complexes highlighted by tricky, undulating putting surfaces, The Links golf course showcases the artistry of Pete Dye’s genius. This shotmaker’s 18 weaves through our beautiful, verdant resort grounds while offering spectacular vistas of the Caribbean Sea from several holes.

Dye Fore

Twenty-seven-hole Dye Fore joined Teeth of the Dog® in 2002. Its three nines – Chavon, Marina and Lagos– are distinct. Chavon features 5 cliff side holes dropping 300 feet, Marina plays down the Chavon rivers and offers panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea and the Marina at Casa de Campo.

The 7,000 acre resort is perched on the south eastern corner of the exotic paradise, and is superbly equipped with all the facilities you could hope for in terms of accommodation, dining and entertainment.

Your stay at the Casa de Campo Resort can be based at one of the sublime private villas, all of which grant immediate access to the golf and leisure highlights. Sleeping four people, the villas typify the enchanting experience of an exotic golf holiday at the world renowned Casa de Campo.

An alternative to the villas is to stay in one of the tropically decorated hotel rooms, which offer private balconies and splendid views of the golf courses.

Food & Drink

The resort boasts a total of 15 bars and restaurants, including the newly opened Chilango Taqueria in Altos de Chavon and two food trucks. In the main hotel area, you'll find the La Caña Restaurant, serving delicious Mediterranean cuisine, and the Lago Grill, specializing in traditional local Dominican dishes.

The Beach Club by Le Cirque is an extension of the renowned Cirque restaurant in New York, located at Minitas Beach. You can also indulge in authentic Italian delicacies at La Piazzatta or savor Spanish tapas at La Casita.

Onno's Bar is the perfect spot for pre-dinner drinks or a nightcap. The 19th hole is a great place to unwind after a round of golf, while La Terraza Bar offers a scenic view of the tennis courts. Other options include Coco Mar for beach club cocktails, Punto & Corcho for wine enthusiasts at the marina, and La Cana Bar & Lounge for refreshing midday drinks.

Leisure facilities

Guests have access to both indoor and outdoor spa services, featuring homeopathy and holistic beauty products from the Signature collection. With options to enjoy treatments in the peaceful Zen gardens of the Spa, the beachfront gazebos on the resort's private beach, or within the comfort of their own villa, guests can tailor their spa experience to suit their preferences.

The resort has 13 tennis courts, water sports at the private beach, kids activities, clay pigeon shooting, a gym and lovely swimming pools. In addition, guests can indulge snorkelling, diving expeditions and horseback riding adventures.

Whole experience was fabulous, from the minute we arrived until picked up for airport return. Personal golf buggy facilitated movement around the resort, in particular to the beach and restaurants. Excellent choice of restaurants - La Casita at the Marina had fantastic seafood. Lovely beach - quiet and safe swimming. All staff couldn't be more helpful. Room overlooked 10th on Teeth of the Dog, and had lovely balcony to sit on in the evening. We were on all-inclusive and would strongly recommend to others - pay as you go guests had 15% + 8% taxes + expected gratuity on top of all food and drinks.

Beautiful scenery, 7 holes play along the sea. Accuracy needed on these holes to reach the greens but well worth playing, greens fast. Caddy compulsory.

A difficult course if windy for a 20 handicapper. Beautiful views from a lot of the holes.

Beautiful setting - the 8 holes on the beach are stunning. Course in excellent condition, and a fair challenge - not much rough, but lots of ocean to lose your ball. Caddies are mandated - both of us are competent golfers and felt these unnecessary - but they at least kept the course moving - but still 4-5-5 hour round. Highly recommended and a must play. Green fees were included in package and "reasonable" for resort guests, but silly prices if just visiting for the day.

We loved this course - very quiet compared with Teeth and Dye Fore - could play anytime and never any queues. Other guests preferred to play the "named" course, but this was a lovely holiday course, which, off the backs was still a serious challenge. Excellent course for ladies (unless you are playing them competitively!)

We got first tee time (0800) and zipped round first nine in no time - two -tee start meant we had time for a coffee (and a snooze!) before playing back nine. Beautiful course in fantastic condition. Wonderful views over Marina and Chavon river. Tees available to suit all standards. The third nine (the Lakes) is not as well maintained and would recommend always playing the Marina and Chavon loops
