0800 043 6644In 1902, the original nine holes were extended, and architectural contributors include J.H. Taylor, James Braid and Ken Cotton. Hazards at Ashburnham include treacherous out of bounds, steep changes in elevation and deep pot bunkers. Add to this the tall fescue that adorns the course's sand dunes, and all the components for a magnificent links course are in place.
Though not particularly long, Ashburnham is tricky and requires great control to achieve good scoring. A perennial favourite in Wales, Ashburnham is certainly worth a stop during a golf tour of the south coast.

We had challenging weather conditions which made it harder for our wives. The fairways were still recovering from last year in places but the greens played very well. Pro was very welcoming with a good tutorial of the course before our round. The clubhouse service was friendly and efficient.
